Story
Meet Meeshka, a little sweet snuggle bug who lives for head rubs and wet food. She's the calmest cat in the world, like a plush toy. All she cares about is snuggling next to your side and getting wet food, as much as possible. She's about 9 y.o. She was adopted 5 years ago from a rescue. She is declawed. She needs a home with no plush carpet, she thinks it's litter. She never had accidents on a bare floor or a rug. She moved through 3 different houses with me and she had carpet accidents in all of them (once every few months), always carpet. Hence the next home should be carpetless. Unfortunately mine is all carpet, and Meeshka has been locked up in the basement to prevent any more damage. She has a shorter tail, and she grew a new bump on it over a week or two which has been stable for 2 years (likely a clogged gland per vet). She sneezes from a chronic sinus/tooth infection (need be pulled). Antibiotics /cleaning didn't work.If you're willing to help her she'll be a wonderful companion

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
This stunning Siamese beauty has already proven just how resilient she is. After lovingly raising her kittens, she came in for her spay surgery much thinner than expected. Because she's naturally shy and semi-feral, it was difficult to tell how much weight she had lost while she was busy being a devoted mom. Bloodwork revealed evidence of feline triaditis, an inflammation that affects the liver, pancreas, and intestines. With medication, a prescription diet, and the dedicated care of her foster family, her bloodwork improved, she regained a healthy weight, and she's now feeling great and ready to find a home of her own. To help keep her feeling her best, she'll need to remain on her prescription diet long-term. While her body has healed, her heart is still learning that people can be trusted. She isn't the kind of cat who will greet you at the door or curl up in your lap. She is handleable and has done wonderfully with the care she needed, but she remains a very shy girl who prefers to observe from a safe distance. She'll need an adopter who understands that trust isn't something that can be rushed. Her foster describes her perfectly: she needs someone who is patient and kind to show her that people are safe and to gently coax her out of her shell. She may never become a social butterfly, and that's okay. She could also be perfectly content as a quiet companion to another friendly cat in the home, enjoying a peaceful life where she can simply be herself. If you believe that every cat deserves a chance—even the quiet ones—you may be the person she's been waiting for. Please reach out to her foster mom, Bethany, at 509-220-9367 to learn more about her or meet her!
