**ROMEO is a Patient Paw, please ask about their reduced adoption fee and the possibility of a sleepover!**Romeo is available through our `Adopt From a Foster Home` program. If you are interested in scheduling a meeting, please fill out the request form here: Adopt From Foster Form. Please do not make an appointment through our online booking calendar, as he is not available to meet on site.Looking for a gentle giant with enough fluff to keep you warm and cozy? Meet heartthrob Romeo! This sweet, social boy is full of affection and fun and loves doing anything with his people. He is described as `100% snuggle bunny` and follows his current foster parent everywhere. He`s comfortable having his ears, legs and toes touched, and enjoys his brushing sessions (which are very much a necessity!). Romeo is also incredibly smart and whatever commands he doesn`t already know he picks up on with ease. As a large dog, Romeo is quite strong, and when combined with his reactivity to other dogs and some people on leash, this might be hard to manage. He is working very hard on keeping calm and has made progress in foster by avoiding his triggers. We are not sure how he would do with another dog due to his leash reactivity, but he has never been in an altercation and has been okay with sniffing the neighbour`s dog through the fence, so there is potential! Due to his high prey drive, though, cats and other small animals are definitely a no-go. Romeo has lived with kids, but would prefer older kids who can respect his space. If sharing your personal space with a soft cloud sounds like a dream come true, Romeo could be your pup! Just be prepared to have fluffy remnants floating around your home...Romeo is:- unknown with kids, older kids recommended (12+)- no cats or small animals - reactive to dogs on leash, potential for other dog pending successful intro

**Layla is a Patient Paw, please ask about their reduced adoption fee and the possibility of a sleepover!**Layla is available through our `Adopt From a Foster Home` program. If you are interested in scheduling a meeting, please fill out the request form here: Adopt From Foster Form. Please do not make an appointment through our online booking calendar, as she is not available to meet on site.Layla is a striking, sensitive dog who is beginning her journey toward understanding what life in a home can look like. She is currently looking for a very patient, experienced adopter who can help her continue building confidence at her own pace.In the shelter environment, Layla has shown that she can be cautious and slow to warm up to new people and situations. She has had moments where she prefers space and needs time to process what is happening around her, especially in busy or unfamiliar settings. At times, when feeling overwhelmed, she may communicate her discomfort through clear body language and a need for distance.Once given the opportunity to move at her own speed, Layla has shown that she can engage with her environment and explore more comfortably, especially when she feels safe and unpressured. Layla will do best in a calm home that understands canine body language and give her the time and space she needs to blossom into the best version of herself!A little bit about Layla:- no history with kids, 15+ only- limited history with cats, slow intros required- no dogs in home

Story
*Mister is in the process of being adopted!*You’ll be hard-pressed to find a doodle bigger than Mister! Weighing in at just over 115 pounds (and yes, this is a healthy weight), this handsome and dapper Bernedoodle certainly lives up to his name. His history is unknown, but he is eager to make his future with you a memorable one!Mister is a SUPER affectionate boy who has no concept of personal space - or perhaps he simply believes 115+ pounds belongs in your lap! He’ll sink his whole body into you for pets, and belly rubs are an absolute favourite. Despite his size and love for attention, Mister is a calm, easygoing guy who walks well on leash, enjoys a good nap, and knows his basics like sit and lay down.Because he’s such a big boy, Mister would love a spacious home where he can lounge and move around comfortably without bumping into everything in sight. His gorgeous coat will also need regular professional grooming to keep him looking and feeling his best! Mister came into our care with another dog and could live with one going forward as long as intros are done slowly. We do not know how he`d do with kids or cats, but with his laidback demeanor, we think he`d be alright! We still recommend close supervision and careful introductions, though.Mister is sweet, cuddly, and ready to take over your couch, your bed, and your heart!Mister is:- unknown with kids, supervised interactions required- unknown with cats, slow intros required- open to dog pending successful intros, came in with another dog

**Lisa is a Patient Paw, please ask about their reduced adoption fee and the possibility of a sleepover!**Meet Lisa! She previously lived on an acreage and enjoyed long days of exploring wonderful smells and relaxing in the sun. She` s a calm, quiet soul who tends to be timid, but is starting to enjoy gentle pets and head scritches from trusted friends.Lisa is still very cautious of slippery floors, doorways, and vehicles. She`ll likely thrive as an outdoor dog with a committed family, or in a home with a fenced yard and lots of patience to help her learn and grow. She will make a wonderful friend for someone who can let her learn and grow at her own speed!
