Finn is a 6-year-old St. Berdoodle, about 100 lbs, who has been with our family since he was 8 weeks old, along with his bonded companion, Nyx. He is laid-back most of the day, with occasional bursts of energy running and playing with her. He enjoys cuddles and attention, but is also perfectly content relaxing nearby on his own.Finn is very intelligent, knows his basic commands, and has no history of aggression or destructive behavior. He can be a little reserved with new people at first and may keep his distance until he feels comfortable, but he warms up with time. He is neutered, accustomed to a doggie door and self-feeder, but also does well with being let out and eating on a set schedule.Finding a new home for Finn and Nyx is an incredibly difficult decision. They have spent their entire lives together, and we are strongly hoping to find a home where they can remain as a pair and be just as loved.

Ash is a beautiful six-and-a-half-year-old female Saint Bernard with a heart as big as her fluffy paws. Back in the care of Big Hearts for Big Breeds, this gentle girl can be a little shy at first, but with patience and a safe, loving environment, she has the opportunity to blossom into a wonderful companion. Ash would do best in a calm, predictable home with older children ages 12 and up who understand and respect a dog’s boundaries. She appreciates having the time and space to settle in at her own pace, and a family who understands that trust is built through patience and kindness will give her the best chance to feel comfortable and secure. Ash does chase cats, so a home without cats is recommended. Her compatibility with other dogs is still being evaluated, as limited interactions have suggested she may be reactive. We’re continuing to learn more about her needs and will share updates as we get to know her better. This sweet Saint Bernard deserves a soft place to land, a family willing to let her move at her own pace, and a peaceful home where she can feel safe and loved. If you have a calm household and room in your heart for a big, fluffy girl who deserves a fresh start, Ash may be the companion you’ve been waiting for.

She is a huge cuddle bug, very intelligent, knows her basic commands, and loves staying close to her people.She is friendly and affectionate, and often greets new people by rolling over for belly rubs. She has no history of aggression or destructive behavior. Nyx is spayed, accustomed to a doggie door and self-feeder, and also does well with being let out and eating on a set schedule. Her biggest fear is thunderstorms, when she does best with reassurance and a comfortable place to settle.Finding a new home for Nyx and Finn is an incredibly difficult decision. They have spent their lives together, and we are strongly hoping to find a home where they can remain as a pair and be just as loved.
