Meet Everest
Everest is a wonderfully laid-back and loving girl who thrives on being close to her people. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who wants nothing more than to spend time by your side, Everest may be the perfect match. She will happily follow you from room to room—even while you’re vacuuming—just to stay near the people she loves.
Everest’s favorite place in the world is the couch, especially if she gets to share it with you. She absolutely loves being petted and will gladly soak up all the affection you’re willing to give. While some pups are obsessed with toys and bones, Everest is much more interested in companionship. For her, the best activity is simply relaxing next to her favorite humans.
She is not crate trained and prefers not to be crated (unless you plan to join her in there! ), but the good news is that she does very well when left alone in the home. Everest is respectful of her space and doesn’t chew on things she shouldn’t. At night, she’s perfectly content to curl up on the couch and sleep peacefully through the night.
Everest can sometimes feel a little nervous in new situations and may grumble or growl briefly when meeting new people, but she warms up quickly once she realizes she’s safe. Outside, she may bark at unfamiliar sounds, but inside she’s a quiet and easygoing housemate who doesn’t spend time barking out the windows. During mealtimes, she is very polite and will calmly lay near the table.
Everest would do well with a variety of families, including first-time giant breed owners. She doesn’t require another dog in the home but could live with other pets with proper introductions. While she currently enjoys having a fenced yard, she doesn’t necessarily require one as long as she gets regular outdoor time.
If you’re looking for a gentle, affectionate companion who will happily keep you company on the couch and throughout your daily routine, Everest is ready to be your loyal shadow.
