Story
*Special Needs*Meet Leo, a giant sweetheart with a sensitive side who is looking for a very understanding home. This handsome Saint Bernard has special medical and behavioral needs and is available to meet by appointment only. If you are interested in adopting/meeting Leo, please email dogs@worcesterarl.org. Leo can be uncomfortable meeting new people, especially when people stare at him or lean over him too quickly. He does best with calm, respectful introductions and requires an adult home that can understand and honor his boundaries while he settles in. Building trust with Leo is incredibly rewarding, and once you are part of his circle, he becomes a loving, affectionate, goofy companion who enjoys being close to his people. Leo is looking to live as the only dog in the home. Leo is searching for adopters who appreciate that large dogs can have big feelings too. He will need a home committed to providing structure, patience, and continued support for his needs. In return, Leo has so much love, loyalty, and personality to share with the people willing to give him the chance he deserves. He is such a lovely dog, and just needs to find the right home. If you are interested in adopting Leo, please email dogs@worcesterarl.org.

Story
Urgent - urgent - Rhode Island - Minnie 3 years old. Great gal who loves everyone. She is not spayed and needs her shot brought up to date. Sadly, Minnie TO NO FAULT OF HER OWN, needs a new loving home. So, she has an ear infection and a hot spot from a cone. She is great otherwise and loving, and sweet and needs a loving home that wants to rescue her and spoil her. She is free but of course, you need to schedule a vet appointment and get her spayed. CALL OR TEXT ME DAWN ONLY AT 610-787-2353. COMMENTS AND QUESTIONS POSTED BELOW WILL NOT BE SEEN. YOU CAN ALSO EMAIL US FOR THE REQUIRED ADOPTION APPLICATION AT dawnleemcmahon@gmail.com FROM OWNER: Minnie is an almost 4 year old super friendly dog who’s awesome with dogs, cats, and kids. Though probably not ones under 5 as she gets a little excited and might knock them over. She loves cuddles, walks when it’s cool out, and carrots. She loves her some carrots. Unfortunately due to some major financial changes I am no longer able to afford to take care of her to the level she deserves. She has an ear infection and then an irritation from a cone that was bad advice but we’re gunna at least start treating it. She just really wants someone to play with her and to cuddle. Also she’s huge on the belly rubs. She is not spayed and needs to get updated on shots. She also really likes smelling flowers on walks. the one photo is of her young. more photos and videos forthcoming........

Story
Scuba was originally found as a stray and wound up at a kill shelter in Georgia. A person adopted him in Boston, and Scuba was brought up North. Unfortunately, the person never showed up when it was time to pick Scuba up. He has since been looking for a place to call home. He’s currently housed at a daycare facility in Brookline. Scuba *predictably* has some hesitation when it comes to strangers. He takes a minute to warm up. Within 30 mins, you’ll be best friends. But initially, he’s scared, and may bark. He’s also a bit jumpy, and needs continued training to get basic manners down (he’s still young - right at 12 months old). He would thrive with a backyard and a pup friend to play with. He’s been passed around like a hotcake, and 3 families have returned him. He’s really starting to show stress from the lack of consistency in his life. He needs someone to actually give him a week or two to decompress and that will actually love him for who he is - a silly, quirky goofball.
