**Meet Cleo! ❤️** Cleo is a big, beautiful Saint Bernard with an even bigger heart. After losing her owner, her world was turned upside down, but she has proven to be a resilient, loving girl who is ready to find a family of her own. If you're looking for a giant, goofy companion, Cleo may be your perfect match. Her foster describes her as a "giant hairy Labrador" because she loves people, enjoys attention from everyone she meets, and approaches life with enthusiasm and excitement. She is friendly with strangers, smart, eager to learn, and already knows some basic commands. Cleo is house-trained when given access to a dog door and has adjusted well to life in foster care. She rides nicely in the car, enjoys spending time outdoors, and is generally an easygoing girl who wants to be part of the family. She is also a free feeder and has excellent house manners. Cleo does well with older children, cats, and other dogs. Because she is a large dog who gets very excited, she can sometimes be overwhelming for smaller dogs—not out of aggression, but simply because she doesn't always realize how big she is. She would do best with dog friends who can handle her playful enthusiasm or with an adopter willing to help her continue learning polite interactions. While Cleo still needs some work on impulse control and remembering that not everyone wants to be greeted with full Saint Bernard excitement, she is incredibly smart and should be easy to train with consistency and positive reinforcement. Cleo is looking for a home that will embrace her size, appreciate her loving personality, and continue helping her become the best version of herself. In return, you'll get a loyal, affectionate, giant-sized best friend who is ready to fill your home with love. No chickens, small kids or small dogs.
