Look at this MUG!!! MUGZY, that is... I am a handsome bloke! I look like a cool breed mix... big beautiful boy! The rescue found me at the pound, hidden away and sick in a building away from the public.... luckily a friend 🧡 of the rescue posted a video of me which caught the hearts of our big dog lovers in the rescue.....AND THE REST IS HISTORY.... I am here healthy and SO happy to be living in the rescue world!! Now I am ready for ADOPTION!! I am a very special boy with the fun in my soul and u will have a lifetime of laughs and slobbery ❤️ Hurry and adopt this big hunk! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)

Cleo is a big, beautiful Saint Bernard who is still very much learning how to exist in the world around her. After losing her owner, her life was completely turned upside down, and she’s now looking for a home that can give her structure, patience, and guidance as she settles in. Cleo is very sweet with people and loves attention, but she is also extremely excitable and does not yet understand her size. She will need an adopter who is comfortable handling a large, strong dog and is committed to working on basic manners and impulse control. She has done well with her brother Atlas, but interactions with other dogs have been inconsistent. Cleo can be sassy and has not done well in limited introductions to new dogs, so she will require slow, structured introductions and continued socialization. Because of this, she may do best as the only dog or with a very experienced home willing to put in the work. She is adjusting well to crate training and does well in the car. Like Atlas, she hasn’t had many life experiences yet, so everything is exciting and sometimes overwhelming. She has a lot of energy and absolutely loves time outside. Cleo will need a committed, experienced adopter willing to provide training, consistency, and leadership. No cats or small animals. Dog-savvy home preferred. 🥓 Meet Maple Bacon! Maple Bacon is a 2-year-old, 70 lb St. Bernard mix with a heart as big as her paws. She’s a confident, affectionate girl who is all about adventure — say the word “car” and she’ll do happy feet until it’s time to go! 🚗💛 Maple has been settling in with her foster beautifully. She loves people, enjoys cuddles, and has a fun playful side — especially when she gets the big-dog zoomies. She knows “sit” and “shake,” and she’s been doing great with routines and structure. 🐾 In the home: ✅ Dog friendly – plays great with other dogs and enjoys respectful introductions ✅ Kid friendly – has done well with a 4-year-old once she got used to the noise and silly antics 🐱 Cats: needs work/management – she has started to stalk the resident cat, but redirects well; she should not be left unsupervised around cats at this time 🍽️ Resource guarding (mild during her foster home transition) – may guard her empty food bowl or shared water bowl from other pets (not people). This has been manageable with supervision and simple routines. Maple Bacon is truly a wonderful dog — loyal, fun, and full of personality — and she’s going to make an amazing best friend for the right home. 🧡🐾 Maple Bacon’s adoption fee is $400 plus MN tax which covers her spay, vaccinations, microchip and any additional medical care she may have needed while in the rescue’s care. We are a foster based rescue, we do not house dogs at a facility. Age and breed are NLR's best guess as we often don't know who or what mom and dad are. KJ is a gorgeous Saint Bernard born in February 2019. He came to us at the end of January with his best friend, Wrigley, and now they are both looking for a new home and family. KJ is about 120 pounds of friendly enthusiasm. He walks well on a leash, but if he sees a friend - hang on - because when he moves with intention - he really moves. KJ is very loveable and needs a home with room for a big guy. A fenced yard would be nice so he can run and not have to be on a leash all the time. All pets adopted from the Humane Society of Freeborn County will be spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, testing and will be microchipped. All of this is included in their adoption fee. Fill out an application to adopt at freeborncountyhs.org When transitioning your new pet home please allow for at least 4-6 weeks for your pet to adjust to their new home. They will need this time to decompress, and adjust to a new routine and environment. During that time we will provide check ins and counseling to ensure a successful transition. Please review all basic adoption requirements listed on our website before applying. We take finding the right homes for the animals in our care very seriously. They deserve nothing but the best! Please allow 2-7 days for applications to be processed. If an animal is listed in foster care, these pets are not at our facility, but are in foster care homes. They are still available for adoption, and meet and greets are done with pre-approved applicants only.
