You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Fill out an Adoption Application Application Fees, Adoption Donations and Rescue Policy: Please know that 100% of our fees and donations pay for the costs of rescuing dogs. These include but are not limited to pull fees from shelters, veterinary examinations, vaccinations, medications and care, microchips, neuter/spay surgeries, heartworm treatments, behavior evaluations, and foster care, as needed. Important notes before applying. Adopters must have their primary residence in one of the following states: Pennsylvania, Ohio, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, West Virginia, Virginia, and parts of North Carolina. We will not adopt giant breed dogs to renters. Homes with children under 6 years of age will not be approved for adoption. Homes with children should have a fenced yard. Pets currently in the applicant's home must have a history of appropriate veterinary care. Homes with intact dogs will not be approved for adoption.  Proof of any of the following exceptions is required: The intact dog is a working member of a law enforcement, or search and rescue/recovery team. The intact dog is registered under the auspices of the American Kennel Club and is actively being shown. A veterinarian has determined the sterilization procedure would harm the intact dog.  We believe in Force Free Training Methods and do not approve of methods or devices using pain or force to control the dog, or to deter undesirable behavior.  Homes with highly varnished steps must have carpeting, securely fixed stair treads, or a non-skid surface. **We encourage you to remediate potential safety issues while your application is under review, prior to the home visit. Archie has been with us all his life since adopted at 4 months old. He is loyal and loving. He is a low energy comfort dog that loves being where ever you are. He sleeps most of the day, and is bored. He needs someone who will play w/him, go for a car ride, take him for a nice walk or have a yard. He doesn’t get on the sofa unless invited and then he just wants to put his head on your lap. He’s house/crate trained. Toys/crate will go w/him. He is not able to go to the dog park - too much stimulation but with the right owner who can help with training that can change. He’s about 75-80 lbs. VERY SMART knows commands. Been around children as young as 4 without issue. They love him. He has not had much experience around other dogs or cats at all. When walking outside people are reluctant to have their dogs near him due to his size so he has been limited in long walks/dog park. Newly married, husband is terrified of all dogs due to childhood trauma so I have to rehome before I move in.

Oh my big fluffy puppy! Check out Mr Bernie he’s a handsome guy who is ready to find a home to call his very own 😍 Bernie is an 8 month old St Bernard puppy. He is working on basic obedience and manners with his foster family and he’s done so well. Bernie really loves to be where is family is and doesn’t realize his size or strength, therefore he is looking for a home with structure and firm boundaries. He is good with other dogs. Ignored the cats at his foster’s house has been around toddlers and small children, but would do best in a home older children due to his size. These two gentle giants, with a lineage traced back to the famous St. Bernard rescue dogs of the Great St. Bernard Pass, are looking for a family that understands their special needs. They are just a year old. **Bear** is a handsome male with the strength and bravery of his St. Bernard ancestors. True to his name, Bear can be a little intolerant of other male dogs, and while we hope neutering and proper socialization will help, his ideal home would be one where he’s the only male dog. Bear has been trained to wear a basket muzzle when needed, and while he’s lovable and incredibly loyal, potential adopters should be prepared for ongoing socialization work. If you’re okay with the possibility that Bear may always need to live without another male dog, then you’ll have a devoted, giant-hearted companion by your side. **Bunny** is Bear’s sweet counterpart, and while she’s equally lovable, she too is still learning how to interact peacefully with other dogs. Brandon is a 5 1/2 year old St, Bernard mix. He is a gentle giant. He is a little standoffish when meeting a new person(s). He is very affectionate once he knows you. He loves rubs and scratches. Brandon loves going for walks and checking out the many play yards here at the ranch. He is very mellow. He would thrive in any size family. He follows commands and is eager to please. He loves his treats and is very gentle when taking them. He doesn't like cats. He is one of the sweetest loving dogs. Brandon is eagerly waiting for his forever home. ##1533014##
