This little 3 month old St Bernard mix pup came to DASH with her 2 siblings from being on the euthanasia list at a rural shelter. She is a typical puppy, very playful, affectionate and loves playing with toys and her siblings. She is currently working on all of her puppy manners in her foster home, including crate training, potty training and walking on a leash and her new family will need to continue helping her with all of these things so she grows up to be the best dog she can be. Being a large breed mix (we don't know what the actual mix is), she is going to need a fairly active family as well. An apartment may not be the best fit for her. She does well with other dogs of all sizes, but has not been cat tested. We think she will be fine with kids just due to her age. Let's get this girl her forever home for Christmas! Information provided by shelter staff, volunteers, and veterinarians is used to give a best estimate as to a dog’s breed make up. We do our best to inform adopters about the potential breeds for each dog.We are a dog only facility so we do not know how most of our dogs will be with cats. Even if a dog is surrendered to us and said to be good with cats there is no way to be sure the dog will be good with your cats. We do have a 7 day foster-to-adopt program so that you can see how the dog interacts with your cats before adoption.
