Mr. Berns is a colosal pup at only 1 1/2 years old. He is a giant lover of affection and companionship. He is extremely healthy and quite jolly. He is fully vetted and neutered. He was adopted by the family at 8-9 weeks old. He has his AKC paperwork.
Mr. Berns has not been around any cats nor any children under the age of 10. Mr. Berns currently lives with a French bulldog, beagle mix and an older Great Pyrn. All males.
Mr. Berns for the past several months has picked fights with each dog. Family has tried everything and feels that Mr. Berns needs a home where he is numero UNO. No human aggression what so ever and 90% of the time, he is a perfect brother. But the 10% unpredictable nature of when he will start a fight with any of the 3 male dogs (all neutered) is too much for the family and not fair to anyone in the home.
Mr. Berns loves hanging out with you and has free roam of his home; however, also loves his crate. He puts himself to sleep every night around 10:30 or so.
Mr. Berns is ok with the car, but with the family's busy schedule, he has only been in the car for vet visits. He is not a fan but we all know how a few trips for some chicken nuggets, hike in the national park or a pup-chino will cure that quick. Before you know it, you will not be able to touch your keys without him magically appearing with a leash in tow. Also, officially only a puppy, he is eager to learn and trainable if you have the time and desire.
If you have experience with giant puppies and want a new furry best friend who will nap on your chest during zoom meetings, and help finish your sandwich or company to your runs to Home Depot or the nursery, Mr. Berns is your man. He hasnt been around water, but saints who are exposed to the pool/pond/beach, often LOVE IT when properly introduced.

Mr. Berns is a loved member of the family and this is a hard decision for them. They are looking for a home that can give him what they cannot. Please only apply if you are serious and a loving qualified home for a giant breed dog.
