His favorite pastimes are walking, lounging around, and loving his person(s). He will thrive in any size family. He is one of the sweetest most loving dogs we have here at the ranch. Story
Anna is a lovely girl who is approximately 11 years old and 65 pounds.  Sadly, her owner had to move where no dogs were allowed.  Times are tough for many people these days especially when it comes to finding affordable housing.   Anna has some health issues that include osteoporosis (back legs, wrists and hips) and hip dysplasia. she has been to our vet and had ex-rays done top to bottom.  She is now on pain meds and Librela shots once a month to help with pain.  She can do stairs and loves to cruise around the foster parent's yard checking out the sights and smells - oh, and barking at people and dogs going by.   Anna also has anxiety challenges when left alone. She barks and paces but does eventually settles (now she is doing better with some meds for anxiety).  Unfortunately, she doesn't walk on a leash and panics if offered a walk (even on a very quiet street) due to living in the country her whole life with access to several acres. She is easy to live with and easy to love, quiet in the house, great with other dogs, housetrained and affectionate.  Has shown no aggression with people, kids or dogs.  Not sure about cats but she is a kind dog overall  Needs an adopter with a house and fenced yard, who has lots of love to share with Hannah AnnaApril 27, 2024, 1:31 pm

Story
Moose is currently being fostered in the Newmarket area   This St. Bernard is a sweet 2 year old boy named Moose. He is currently being fostered with another large female dog, an elderly cat, and two children. He was being fostered with a small dog before and was great with him. Moose has experience living with a family before he came into rescue and was only surrendered due his family's life situation. He is fantastic with everyone in the foster home and they have experienced no issues to suggest he was rehomed due to temperament or health. His only issue is his size and the fact he doesn't know he is big. He wants to be a lap dog to the two kids he totally outweighs. The kids still love this goofy boy. He really has a gentle heart and disposition. The foster home doesn't use a crate as they keep the dogs baby gated in the kitchen. Mr. Moose will counter surf given the opportunity but who can resist leftovers. Other than the occasional counter surfing Moose is not destructive and does not guard his toys or food. He is quiet in the house and has been left alone without incident.   April 27, 2024, 1:31 pm

Hi nice to meet you Ajax here let me tell you just a little about me and I was told honesty is the best policy for me to find my human Soulmate! I will need a strong, confident handler that is willing to show me leadership and consistency , I'm a very sweet boy if your willing to give me the time I will need to adapt to my new home and surroundings. I love to go swimming (It's one of my favorite things) hiking or just being the Andy Griffith dog lounging on the front porch catching some rays!!!. My good friends Stephanie and Elizabeth love taking me out on adventures and tell me what a good boy I am (shhh I love those girls) but it took awhile to trust them but man I'm glad I did !! I'm told I'm a little difficult sometimes and that's why my friends are making sure I find the exact home that will let me shine. I may not be perfect but with the right person I know I will be amazing. So that's all I'm going to say about me I will let my other friends fill you in on the rest; all my friends at NDR just want to see me shine in my new beginning!! I hope to meet you soon and lets let life adventures begin!!!
