Story
Meet Lady Mae ❤️ Lady Mae is a 4-year-old English Mastiff/St. Bernard mix weighing 85 pounds, and she is truly one of our favorite dogs here at The Asher House Sanctuary. She has the sweetest soul. Lady is affectionate, gentle, and loves being close to her people. She gets along wonderfully with both small and large dogs and has never met a stranger she didn’t want to be friends with. Lady is the perfect balance of adventure buddy and couch companion. She loves going on pack walks and would happily join you for hikes, neighborhood strolls, or weekend adventures. But if your perfect day involves cuddling on the couch and watching movies, she’s just as happy doing that too. As long as she’s with her person, she’s content. She walks beautifully on a leash and has a calm, easygoing personality that makes her a joy to be around. Now, every great dog has one little quirk—and Lady’s is that she’s very food motivated. If there’s a trash can nearby, she’ll happily investigate it, especially in the middle of the night! We use baby locks on our trash cans at the sanctuary, and that’s all it takes to keep this little trash treasure hunter out of trouble. Lady also has a minor medical consideration. During her spay surgery, there was a complication that makes it a little harder for her to hold her urine for long periods. She knows she should potty outside, and as long as she’s taken out regularly, she does very well and shouldn’t have accidents in the home. Lady would thrive in a home with children ages 7 and up. She does wonderfully with other dogs but is not a good fit for a home with cats. More than anything, Lady is looking for a family that will shower her with love, attention, and kindness. She has so much love to give and deserves a home where she’ll be cherished for the incredible dog she is. If you’re looking for a loyal best friend with a heart as big as she is, Lady may be the perfect match. Apply to meet Lady today. We can’t wait for you to fall in love with this beautiful girl. Lady Mae's adoption fee is $295 and she's spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. Apply to meet Lady Mae today!❤️

Story
Sporty Spots is a very handsome Saint Bernard American Bulldog mix that weighs about 80 pounds! He absolutely loves people and loves to get attention and belly rubs! He will sit with his head in your lap getting all the head scratches for hours if you let him. He is a goofball and is sure to make you laugh and smile everyday.  Spots is a super friendly and outgoing dog. He is good with children that are aged 14 and over! He loves toys, and he also loves to play in water. He is the kind of dog that would love to play in the sprinklers and have his own little pool he can play in. He really loves to play with balls, he will chase them all day. Spots would do best in a home that has a backyard for him to run around in.  Spots does well with some dogs that are his size or larger. Spots will need to go to a home that has a strong handler and has owned large dogs before. So far, he has learned to sit, stay, and lay down.  Overall, Spots is an amazing dog that is waiting for his forever home. He is very loyal and very friendly with other people. He also is very protective of his home and loves to keep patrol of his yard! He loves toys and water and would make the perfect travel buddy! Story
Zeuz and Hercules are a bonded sibling pair. They eat together; sleep together. They are never alone. They are 3 years old, neutered and chipped. I adopted these dogs from California. The 1st owner surrendered them to a high kill shelter as he had cancer. They were on the euthanasia list. They love to play in the water and swim, they love car rides. They only bark when someone comes around the house. They are protective and loyal. I unfortunately was in a bad car accident and am not able physically to care for them. I love them to pieces and want the best life for them. Hercules does not like cats, but Zeuz does ok with them.

Story
Shrek is a great name for me! I am kind of a sweet OGRE looking boy with a loving heart and kind of beat up body. It is HARD to live on the streets! I had an old injury so limping was my norm. It was discovered that my back leg had been broken and healed very wonky. Now my bad leg is gone and I am pain free! NOW, I am a healthy TRIPOD boy looking for just the right family...one who will care for me for all my days! I deserve it and you deserve this cute OGRE in your life too! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)
