Meet Norman – Your Gentle Giant Companion 🐾 Norman is a 6.5-year-old Saint Bernard with a big heart to match his big paws. This handsome boy can be an absolute love bug once he feels comfortable and bonded with his people. He enjoys affection, lounging nearby, and being a loyal presence in the home. He does not do well with younger kids and is not good with other dogs either. He prefers the cold so AC is needed! Norman has a history of mild hip dysplasia and will need ongoing dental maintenance to keep him healthy which he has with his transferrable insurance for $112/month. This insurance covers all of his health care needs for no additional costs other than the monthly payment. Why Norman? If you're looking for a devoted companion who will reward your patience with deep loyalty and affection, Norman is the perfect match. He’s a gentle sensitive giant who just needs the right home and unfortunately, we have to re-home him with two little infants in the home.

Meet Lady Mae ❤️ Lady Mae is a 4-year-old English Mastiff/St. Bernard mix weighing 85 pounds, and she is truly one of our favorite dogs here at The Asher House Sanctuary. She has the sweetest soul. Lady is affectionate, gentle, and loves being close to her people. She gets along wonderfully with both small and large dogs and has never met a stranger she didn’t want to be friends with. Lady is the perfect balance of adventure buddy and couch companion. She loves going on pack walks and would happily join you for hikes, neighborhood strolls, or weekend adventures. But if your perfect day involves cuddling on the couch and watching movies, she’s just as happy doing that too. As long as she’s with her person, she’s content. She walks beautifully on a leash and has a calm, easygoing personality that makes her a joy to be around. Now, every great dog has one little quirk—and Lady’s is that she’s very food motivated. If there’s a trash can nearby, she’ll happily investigate it, especially in the middle of the night! We use baby locks on our trash cans at the sanctuary, and that’s all it takes to keep this little trash treasure hunter out of trouble. Lady also has a minor medical consideration. During her spay surgery, there was a complication that makes it a little harder for her to hold her urine for long periods. She knows she should potty outside, and as long as she’s taken out regularly, she does very well and shouldn’t have accidents in the home. Lady would thrive in a home with children ages 7 and up. She does wonderfully with other dogs but is not a good fit for a home with cats. More than anything, Lady is looking for a family that will shower her with love, attention, and kindness. She has so much love to give and deserves a home where she’ll be cherished for the incredible dog she is. Sporty Spots is a very handsome Saint Bernard American Bulldog mix that weighs about 80 pounds! He absolutely loves people and loves to get attention and belly rubs! He will sit with his head in your lap getting all the head scratches for hours if you let him. He is a goofball and is sure to make you laugh and smile everyday.  Spots is a super friendly and outgoing dog. He is good with children that are aged 14 and over! He loves toys, and he also loves to play in water. He is the kind of dog that would love to play in the sprinklers and have his own little pool he can play in. He really loves to play with balls, he will chase them all day. Spots would do best in a home that has a backyard for him to run around in.  Spots does well with some dogs that are his size or larger. Spots will need to go to a home that has a strong handler and has owned large dogs before. So far, he has learned to sit, stay, and lay down.  Overall, Spots is an amazing dog that is waiting for his forever home. He is very loyal and very friendly with other people. He also is very protective of his home and loves to keep patrol of his yard! He loves toys and water and would make the perfect travel buddy!
