We rescued Nahla when she was just a baby and and she has been the absolute best dog we have ever owned. She was with us through the birth of our baby girl and has always been very gently around our daughter. We truly love this dog and this hasn't been an easy decision by any means. The only reason we are looking for a new home for her is because our work schedules have changed and we don't feel it is fair to Nahla that she is home alone so much. We would love to find her a family that can give her the love and attention she needs.

Meet 5-yr old Lucy! My friend saw two dogs on the streets and stopped. He spent hours talking to them and earning their trust and he finally got them into his car. He took them to the ACC and the vet scanned them. It turns out Lucy had a chip. They called the owner but he told the vet to eff off and hung up the phone…so she is definitely abandoned. The ACC was at max capacity and couldn’t take them, so we have been fostering Lucy, along with her foster brother, while we try to find them homes. While Lucy gets along with her foster brother, she is dog-selective and we recommend that she be the only dog in the household. She is incredibly smart and food-motivated, which has made training a breeze! She definitely knows how to turn up the charm when there are burgers on the grill! Lucy is an angel and would love to find her special person. She is usually a couch potato, but she will always say yes to an hour-long walk. She is housebroken, crate trained, and very sweet.
