Vito is a mix breed, his mom is mix of Staffordshire Terrier, Doberman and few other breeds. He is about 14 months old, weighs about 55 lbs. He is vaccinated, microchipped and neutered for adoption. Vito, his mom Molly and his brother Schwartz were pulled out of Kern County Animal Services. They lost few of their siblings at the shelter due to very cold weather. He is a playful and sweet dog. Meet Selena, a beautiful Staffordshire terrier mix with the kindest soul. Selena was rescued from a high-kill shelter, Contra Costa Animal Care, where her life was at risk. Today, she is safe—but what she truly needs now is a family of her own. Selena is about 4 years old and weighs around 80 lbs. She is vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed, and is currently working with professional trainers while continuing her socialization with other dogs. She does best with proper introductions, and with time and patience, she continues to blossom. What truly makes Selena special is her deep love for people. She is incredibly sweet, gentle, and affectionate—she just wants to be close to her humans and feel loved. Selena has been through so much, yet her heart remains open and full of love. She is patiently waiting for her forever home, a family who will see her for the amazing dog she is and give her the life she deserves. Despite a difficult past, Luna’s spirit shines bright. She has a few bumps on her head from previous mistreatment, but they don’t stop her from being incredibly affectionate and loving toward people. Luna is about 5–6 years old, weighs around 51 lbs, and is vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed. She is currently in training and being properly socialized with other dogs. She was rescued from West Valley Animal Shelter, pulled from the euthanasia list just in time. Described by all who meet her as “The Sweetest Dog” Valerie’s journey has been heartbreaking. She was adopted by someone who traveled from Oregon to California just to bring her home. For eight months, we received nothing but happy updates, photos, and videos—she was going on pack walks, making people smile, and thriving. But then, everything changed. Out of nowhere, Valerie’s adopter called animal control to surrender her. According to the adopter, there was an altercation between two dogs—her existing dog and another. Someone was bitten, and Valerie was put in a room while animal control was called on her. Despite no clear evidence that Valerie was involved, she was picked up and placed in a shelter again. Thankfully, a foster in Oregon stepped up to pull Valerie out before she was euthanized. They adored her, but unfortunately, their dog didn’t get along with Valerie, so she is now back in California with the rescue. We made Valerie a promise: Never again will she be abandoned. My name is Sadee, a 5 year old girl who was sadly dumped in the Pacific Palisades. A nice lady came to my rescue in an abandoned restaurant, and this family has shown me a lot of love over the past month. They tried really hard to locate my owner, and now it is time I find a new foster, or better yet, my forever home. My favorite things to do are play with my ball and do figure 8 zoomies around the yard. I'd love to go on adventures with you, and then come home and put myself in the crate for a nap. I love my crate. well-mannered and know: sit, stay, wait, and take. I went to a trainer for a few nights over the holidays and he said I am easy to train, especially since I love treats. He was helping me with my insecurities around other dogs. Do not worry, he said it is not aggression, and I just need someone who can be patient while teaching me. Right now, I am still decompressing, so I need a calm stable environment. I am running out of time. Please consider me. There are videos too!
