We got Bowser from the humane society in Dec of 2024 and he was about 1.5 years old at that time(now around 3 years old) Bowser is a high energy dog that loves to cuddle. We have been working on fetch, and his jumping. Bowser can sit and shake. We have an elderly dog and Bowser has a habit of knocking him over, because of his excitement. Bowser has a tendency to have a few accidents in the house, but I think he just needs a little more training. Bowser is good with kids, just have to watch his excitement as he has bumped into them. Bowser is a chewer. He has left the kids toys alone in the house except for the ones they left out in the yard. I think Bowser can be a great dog with some more training and a house that’s not so busy where he can the exercise he needs for his energy level.

Shoestring is a young Staffy mix born 08/08/2024, and he approaches life like every day has something exciting waiting in it. Whether he’s heading out for a walk, playing with another dog, or proudly showing off one of his sweaters, Shoestring has a way of making ordinary moments feel fun.   He’s the kind of dog who wants to be part of whatever is happening. Folding laundry? He can help with that. Watching TV? He’ll gladly supervise from the couch. Shoestring loves attention, loves being included, and would thrive in a home with another playful dog because having a built-in best friend sounds exactly like his style.   His foster says he’s doing amazing with training, and honestly, Shoestring seems pretty proud of himself about it. He already knows commands like “sit,” “shake,” “come,” and “go outside.” He’s potty trained, kennel trained, and settling beautifully into routines — though he may file a tiny morning complaint if breakfast service is moving too slowly.   Shoestring does wonderfully with kids and other dogs, and his happy, affectionate personality makes him incredibly easy to love. He’s playful, smart, eager to learn, and already showing what an amazing companion he’s going to be. He isn’t just looking for a home to live in — he’s looking for people to do life with.   The suggested adoption fee for Shoestring is $365.   Bullies-N-Beyond is a 501(c)3, non-profit corporation that is 100% volunteer operated. Adoption donation fees are the primary source of funding for the cost of veterinary care for our animals. All dogs adopted through BNBR will have been administered their age appropriate vaccines which may include DHPP, Rabies, Lepto and Bordetella. All dogs will also be adopted out as already altered if of age; this for those not of age, a voucher will be provided. The adoptions for all of our animals will take place in the Omaha, NE area and must be done by the adoptive family in person. We do not ship or deliver. BNBR does not adopt on a first serve basis. Spud is a Staffy mix, born August 8, 2024. He is learning all the basic things about being a dog. He’s smaller than his siblings and very shy but once he warms up, his real personality comes through. He is very cuddly, eager to please, and excited to learn – which is coming in handy for potty training, basic commands, and kennel conditioning. He seems to get along well with other dogs, as he has a male foster brother who is teaching him the ropes. He’s still figuring out what all the sounds in the neighborhood are and doesn’t seem to have much interest in the small animals around – like squirrels, so may be good for a family with cats. He wakes up from naps and nighttime sleeps with a dry kennel and is almost sleeping through the entire night without waking up to go outside. He’ll make a family looking for a chill dog very happy. ##2226165##

Ace is a young Staffie born on 02/07/2023 with a thoughtful little soul and a goofy streak that sneaks up on you. He is the kind of dog who likes to sit back for a minute, study the room, and decide whether the fun is worth joining… and once it is, he is all in. Ace is also the kind of dog who finds joy in the little things, whether that is proudly carrying around his toys like tiny treasures or soaking up sunshine outside. He loves stretching out for long naps, exploring the yard, enrichment games, and snuggling close after a good day.   This handsome boy has an adventurous spirit and loves to explore the world around him, so he will need a secure fenced backyard with a 6-foot fence to help keep him safe while he follows his curiosity. Ace is also kennel trained when left unsupervised, because if boredom strikes, he occasionally likes to create his own “projects.”   Ace is still building confidence and learning that the world is a safe place, so he will thrive with a patient family who will continue encouraging him as he grows. Because he can get enthusiastic during playtime, he would do best in a home with children over the age of 8.   At the end of the day, Ace is just a young dog with a big heart, a playful spirit, and so much love waiting for the people willing to learn his language and grow alongside him.    The suggested adoption fee for Ace is $365.
