Story
Bruce, our lovable companion, became a part of our family when we adopted him from the NE Humane Society at just 8 months old. Now 7 years old, Bruce has grown into a kind-hearted and loyal dog who is truly the center of our world. He’s a true example of what unconditional love looks like. From day one, Bruce has been an energetic and affectionate part of our family, always eager to join us wherever we go. Whether it's a trip to the park or a cozy evening at home, he’s always by our side, ready for adventure—or simply to snuggle up on the couch. Bruce gets along with all people and is a total cuddle bug. If you’re looking for a dog who will shower you with affection, Bruce is your guy! However, as he’s aged, Bruce has shown a bit more wariness around other dogs. While he’s still friendly with humans, he would thrive in a home where he’s the only dog. He’s happy to have all the attention to himself and enjoys being the sole focus of his family. Bruce is well-behaved, too! He loves going

Story
Shoestring is a Staffy mix, born 08/08/2024. He is looking for a home where he can get lots of attention, ideally with another dog friend to play with. He's doing great with his obedience training and already knows commands like "come," "go outside," "sit," and "shake." Shoestring loves tagging along and playing with his foster brother and sister and looks adorable in his dog sweaters. He is potty trained and kennel trained, though he might whine a bit early in the morning to let you know he's ready to get up. He is good about only chewing on bones and dog toys. Shoestring is also learning how to play fetch and enjoys going for walks. He does great with kids and other dogs.  The suggested adoption fee for Shoestring is $415.  Bullies-N-Beyond is a 501(c)3, non-profit corporation that is 100% volunteer operated. Story
Spud is a Staffy mix, born August 8, 2024. He is learning all the basic things about being a dog. He’s smaller than his siblings and very shy but once he warms up, his real personality comes through. He is very cuddly, eager to please, and excited to learn – which is coming in handy for potty training, basic commands, and kennel conditioning. He seems to get along well with other dogs, as he has a male foster brother who is teaching him the ropes. He’s still figuring out what all the sounds in the neighborhood are and doesn’t seem to have much interest in the small animals around – like squirrels, so may be good for a family with cats. He wakes up from naps and nighttime sleeps with a dry kennel and is almost sleeping through the entire night without waking up to go outside. He’ll make a family looking for a chill dog very happy. ##2226165##
