He’s naturally sociable—always eager to meet new people and other dogs with friendly play bows and cheerful barks. Tigger’s playful energy makes him the life of the dog park: he chases balls, invites romps, and shares toys without possessiveness. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.DOB: 11/01/2021 Meet Buster — aka Buster Boo, Marshmallow Moo Cow Buster’s journey began on a construction site, where he wandered in looking for safety and found a crew of kind-hearted workers who instantly fell in love with him. They knew he deserved more than a job site — he deserved a forever home — so they called RUFF Rescue to help him find just that. This 75-pound love bug is the definition of a good boy . He’s strong, loyal, and full of personality. Buster loves car rides, hard chew toys, and being close to his people. He’s smart and responsive to commands like come, sit, and down. He’s happiest when he’s the center of attention, so he’ll thrive as the only dog in the home. Whether he’s lounging like a marshmallow moo cow or trotting beside you on a walk, Buster is ready to be your best friend. If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a big heart and an even bigger personality, Buster is your guy. (AFi/AFi*) Up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, neutered, and micro-chipped.   Adoption Fee:  $200.00      Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 8, 2025, 3:57 pm

Story
i have one day to rehome my babygirl, luna before shes put in the pound. she’s a staffordshire terrier pit bull & 5 years old. she’s not good with other dogs and needs a stable environment with a loving home. she’s very protective and i’ve had her since she was a puppy. i’d love to still be able to visit her if possible and want her to get all the love she deserves. this is very upsetting for me & really need a loving home for her. she’s been with a foster who won’t keep her anymore.

Story
Meet Prince! A lover of human affection and attention. Prince is a 7-year-old gentleman who requires low-cost, non-life-saving daily meds. He is house-trained, not a barker, gentle, and prefers a human-only household. Prince needs someone who can provide a routine, loves a shadow, someone who craves loyalty and companionship. He is well mannered, knows basic commands, and is definitely motivated to please. Prince loves blueberries, watermelon, cheese and bite sized carrots. Prince enjoys the outdoors, so a fenced-in yard is a must. Consider giving Prince the life he deserves; he's a snuggler.

Story
Meet Vincent (Vinny) — a 1&#226&#128&#145year&#226&#128&#145old, 31 lb Staffordshire Terrier mix with a heart full of love, a nose for adventure, and the sweetest puppy spirit!   Quick Facts: Name: Vincent Breed: Staffordshire Terrier Mix Age: 1 year old Weight: 31 lbs. House-Trained: Almost there! Around 95% Crate-Trained: Yes (but doesn’t love being in the crate) Good with Dogs: Yes Good with Cats: Not yet tested Good with Kids: Yes (older kids only due to his “mouthy play”) Energy Level: Medium Fence Required: No (must be leashed, fence preferred)   About Vincent’s Breed: Our best guess is that Vinny is a Staffordshire Terrier mixed breed. Staffordshire Terriers are known for their loyalty, intelligence, and affectionate nature, often forming deep bonds with their families. Despite their strong, muscular appearance, they are typically gentle, people&#226&#128&#145oriented dogs who thrive on companionship and love being included in daily life. They’re energetic, playful, and eager to please, making them wonderful companions for active households.   An ideal home for a Staffordshire Terrier is one that can offer regular exercise, consistent training, and plenty of quality time together. They do best with families who appreciate their enthusiasm and can provide structure, mental stimulation, and affection. A secure yard for playtime, daily walks, and a family committed to positive reinforcement help them flourish into the devoted, joyful companions they’re known to be.   What to Love about Vincent: Vinny is still filling out and loving every mealtime along the way. He’s mostly housetrained but, like any young pup, he’ll need consistency and routine to keep him on track. He learns quickly and wants nothing more than to make his people proud. Crates aren’t his favorite because he gets sad being left alone, but he can be crated when needed. Ideally, he’d love a family who is home often so he can soak up all the companionship he craves. This boy is a playful pup who can be a little mouthy during play, so he’d do best in an adult&#226&#128&#145only home or one with respectful teens. On leash, he’s enthusiastic and pulls a bit—there are just so many amazing smells out there—but he’s working on his manners and improving every day!   Vinny is a people&#226&#128&#145loving, treat&#226&#128&#145loving, cuddle&#226&#128&#145loving sweetheart who adores everyone he meets. He has settled beautifully into his foster home with four dogs ranging from 40 to 134 lbs! He’s more on the submissive side when playing and would be thrilled to have a doggie sibling, though he’d also do great as your one&#226&#128&#145and&#226&#128&#145only. He hasn’t met cats yet, but given his more submissive nature and lack of interest in chasing, he’d likely be respectful. At his core, Vinny is a loyal shadow—he loves staying by your side, following you from room to room, and showering you with kisses. He’s a loud and proud love bug who wants to be included in everything you do! With his love of sniffing and exploring, he’d make a fantastic trail buddy or adventure companion.   Vinny’s Vivacious Highlights: 1 year old, 31 lbs, Staffordshire Terrier mix Mostly housetrained; learns fast Best with adults or respectful teens Great with dogs of all sizes Likely good with cats Loves people, cuddles, and being included Medium energy; loves sniffing and exploring Ideal for a home where someone is around often   Vinny is ready to be someone’s loyal best friend, adventure buddy, and cuddle companion. He can’t wait to find the family who will love him as much as he already loves them!     Comprehensive details are provided in the dog's description. to ensure a smooth process, please submit a completed application through our website at: http://crisisdogsnc.org/dog-adoption/. Please note that questions via email or social media channels may not receive a response without a completed application.
