Story
Meet Milo the Meatbal! Milo is an approximately 2-year-old, 60lb squishmellow/pit mix. After tragically losing his owner in a fire, Milo spent months living in an outdoor kennel.  Now with a foster, he’s finally experiencing the comfort of a warm home, and he is thriving.   Milo is incredibly sweet and affectionate, soaking up every cuddle and human connection he can get. He loves playing with his foster dog friends and has done wonderfully with other dogs. He’s also great in the car and settles nicely in his crate.  Milo is a gentle, loving boy who is simply craving what he missed for so long—companionship, playtime, and a family to call his own.   If you’re looking for a loyal snuggle buddy with a playful side, Milo the Meatball might just be your perfect match   All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. Story
Dillion is a male 8-10 month old Staffordshire terrier mix puppy. He is very friendly and loving to the volunteers but needs more socialization with strangers. Dillion was a small puppy at only 30 lbs when he was abandoned on a country road. He is a star of dog playgroup and loves to play with other dogs. His special friend is Sparky but he loves Kobe, Tara and others. Would be best with kids older than 8-10 years. Dillion still acts like a playful puppy and hopes to become a beloved member of the family with some extra socialization, love, and training. He is a petite 38 lbs now and probably won't get any bigger. He keeps a clean kennel and is quiet indoors. Dillion would do best with another dog friend to play with. He is vaccinated, neutered, wormed, and heartworm negative. Adopt fee $50 Please call 765-994-5201 to set up an appointment to meet him.

Story
Coy is as sweet as he is handsome! When he is in his kennel here at the shelter, he tends to be shy (and oh, so stubborn.) But once he is out with people, he is happy and playful as can be. We have him down as a Staffordshire Bull Terrier mix, but your guess is as good as ours. He weighs 51lbs and we estimate that is just over a year old.If you are interested in adopting this pet please visit www.blackfordcountyanimalshelter.com to complete our online adoption application.
