Story
You just simply HAVE to meet Momo! A small boy who tips the scales at just under 30 pounds. His tiny body was built for speed— he is an absolute rockstar at fetch, always bringing it back too! He enjoys all the great things in life, companionship, sunbathing, affection, and of course a good ole nap. Momo is a playful, goofy Bull Terrier mix—or at least that’s our best guess! What we do know for sure is that he’s 100% joy and will bring endless smiles to your home. Watch him in action right here! https://youtu.be/leBGp3y_5MA?si=gJsP4rie60eDkyES Momo loves to toss his toys in the air and catch them, proving he’s an expert in self-entertainment. But don’t let his playful energy fool you—once he’s had his fun, he’s all about lounging on the floor and hanging out with his people, soaking up the family vibes. Currently living with a family, Momo would thrive in a home with older kids who can handle his playful side. Momo is living with a pack full of many different dogs varying in age and size. Momo makes his fosters home add up to 4 doggos! He is small dog friendly, and his best friend is a teeny tiny chihuahua! Momo is a smarty pants— He already knows commands like “sit” and would love to join you on daily walks to explore the world together. Speaking of exploring, Momo makes a great shotgun rider. So the possibilities are limitless on where you will go together! He often joins his foster family for trips to the local dog park, where he is able to show off his fetch skills in front of everyone. If you’re looking for a fun-loving, toy-tossing, and heartwarming companion, Momo is ready to bring his big personality to your home. His foster family told us that he is just so sweet and it took no time for them to fall in love with him. So, what do you say, are you ready to experience the Momo lovin’ life? Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs and we enjoy seeing their progress!  Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. We've received glowing feedback from veterinarians who commend our dedication to ensuring the health and well-being of every animal in our care with treatments that often go above and beyond. Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet.  The rescue’s hard costs alone (excluding transport) for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,368. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the adoption fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. Transport is a significant additional expense to the rescue.  While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that the rescue does not receive government funding and must fundraise to offset the remaining expense balance which ranges $100-1,000++ per animal on these direct costs. It doesn’t stop there! Story
Oh my heck this little girl is an absolute sweetheart and is a legit baby seal!! The only difference between an actual baby seal and this sweetie is that you can actually take this one home! Lola has the sweetest face and the sweetest heart. Everything about her is adorable and if her sweet little pittie face doesn’t make you head over heels for her then her personality will. My favorite thing about her are those big brown eyes of hers and the way she looks at people, even those she just met. She quite literally looks into your soul. I’m obsessed with her and would take her home in a heartbeat! Fun fact, I actually did and I cannot love her anymore and I know you will too. She’s the sweetest thing! She will sit at your feet, cuddle up, sit in your lap and be as close as possible. Lola by far one of the easiest dogs I have also ever fostered. She is a 10/10 hands down. When you adopt Lola and bring her home, you’ll find that you have yourself a true snuggly bestie that will love you no matter what. Watch her video, yes it’s 20min…but it’s worth watching every single second of it and this 20min could be your future with Lola in your life: https://youtu.be/fZg7R1c0hMw?si=7rzXrt5TRvaw3lVA Lola Lovebug is a dainty little Pittie/Staffie mix with these big brown “pet me” eyes. She has an adorable habit of perching her chin on the edge of your couch, the corner of your bed, or even on your knees, and gazing up at you until you pay attention to her. She really does feel more like a human child than a dog, she’s a total “fur baby,” “doghter,” “baby dog” type of pup. She’s estimated to be around 7 years old but don't let that fool you, age is just a number and she's got a young heart with grown up manners. She's in her golden glow era. Lola is a rescue dog and with any rescue, it's always a mystery and we cannot guarantee breed or age. What's not a mystery is how much she loves her people and how loyal she is. Lola is so sweet and gentle, giving you kisses every chance she can get. Hopefully not interrupting your very important meeting(s) but even if she does, it's totally worth it. Speaking of work meetings and work life in general. Do you ever get envious of those people that get to take their dog to the office because they are that well behaved and quiet that they make the perfect office companion? Well, Lola can be your perfect office companion!! We know this for a fact because she already is her foster dad’s work from home buddy and hangs out with him every day at his home office. She also has spent time in real working offices, even man cave car places, and her calm loving offers the best kind of support making busy days feel calmer and lighter just with her presence. She is office tested, employee approved, quietly hangs out, naps nearby, and soaks up all the compliments. Lola will also provide the perfect amount of white noise with her little baby snores too. Who can resist that?! Lola loves to go on walks and she is very easy to walk on a leash. She hardly ever pulls and is sure to stay by your side enjoying every step of the way. The only times she does pull while out on a walk is when another dog barks at her as you will see in her video. It is not hard to help her reset whatsoever. All it takes is a good “no” and a simple leash correction. That’s all it takes. If you're someone who likes to go for walks around the neighborhood, explore the nature parks nearby, want a buddy to take with you to run errands, etc. Lola is the perfect companion to have with you. She loves leisurely walks throughout the neighborhood, tagging along where you wanna go if you take, and will love it even more when she's with her forever person. She’s super friendly with everyone she meets on walks too, and enjoys the extra attention that new friends always seem to bring. At her foster’s house, she even has her own personal fan club. Everyone knows her and everyone loves her. You’ll see in her video just how happy she gets when she sees the neighbor’s son across the street. He even said that he is wanting his next dog to be like Lola and specifically wants one that looks like her too. You can’t make that up, she is just that amazing. She’s great in the car too, and sits up in the backseat looking out the window or when she’s riding in the front seat. She’s your cute little passenger princess. She even does great on long car rides too! Lola is a smart gal and is incredibly trainable, she already knows some basic commands such as “sit,” and “lay down,” and her foster mom says all the time that she is a joy to teach new things too, is so eager to please, and is overall just a GOOD dog. She is crate trained and potty trained and has wonderful house manners too, never getting into things she's not supposed to be. Not feeling up for a walk one day? Totally fine with Lola! She is so easy going and loves to relax. Don't tell her we told you this but she's kinda lazy and in the absolute best way! Meaning she's not the type of dog that is going to require much exercise nor is she going to be bothered if she didn't get a walk that day. She is perfectly content relaxing at home with you, snuggled up watching movies all day. She’ll be happy to play fetch while also being just as happy lounging like the little baby seal that she is. Lola is so adaptable, it does not take much to make her happy!! All she really cares about is just loving you. She wants to be with you and to make you happy. She wants to be a companion dog. Your SOUL dog. Lola would also thrive as your one and only fur baby as well and we believe she might be happiest being the center of your attention. She does not need the company of another dog to feel comfortable nor does she need another dog in the home to fulfill her energy needs. Lola loves everyone she meets and bonds very quickly with people and she is the definition of a house hippo LOL. She would also do best in a home with out any kitty friends as well. Lola has also been around kids as young as 2 years old to 18 and everything else in between. She does completely fine with them, to her it's more opportunities for affection but just from a smaller or younger human. She is a total sweetheart with them, takes treats gently from them, and will even listen to them when they give her a command. She was evening listening to the smallest little humans that could say words. Lola isn’t bothered by all the jumping, screaming, random movements, running around, and all of the chaos that comes with being in a room with young kids. If you have kids, then you know exactly what we're talking about LOL. Even in those high energy moments with kids running around and when you're rushing to gather all the supplies/backpacks/school lunches, etc. the last thing anyone is going to want is a dog that is going to add to that mayhem. With Lola, you're not going to have to worry about that whatsoever. She is so relaxed in those moments and just watches everything going on around her or she's just walking around wagging her tail. It does not phase her one bit! While she can absolutely handle the hustle and bustle when things get busy, we believe that she would prefer a more relaxed environment and would do best with somewhat older kids. Her preference for older children reflects her love for a calmer, more laidback lifestyle. Really, if anything, it just goes to show how she just wants to be with her person. She’s happy as a clam regardless of what is going on around her and just happy to be included. Again, she’s your soul dog and just wants to be loved. She would be great in a home with 1-2 kids ages 14 and up or if you don't have kids in the home and have grandchildren or friends that have younger kids that come and visit, Lola will be completely happy with that too because it is not an everyday thing. Lola is a once-in-a-lifetime perfect pup, and ready for her forever home. She is so cool, calm and collected, a literal love bug (hence her name), so friendly, well behaved, and so much more. She’s not too picky about your home - she just wants your love. Lola enjoys being outside and would thrive in a home with a yard where she can play fetch on occasion and soak in the sun. Story
Oh my goodness, my heart cannot handle the love this sweet chonky guy has to offer. I don’t know about you but I am a total sucker for the black dogs with grey hair sprinkled throughout their face. Neo the Great is a distinguished gentleman type that loves his people, loves his toys, and is just an over all happy go lucky guy. You should see the way he turns into a total puppy when he starts talking to you and the way his eyes just light up. You'll see exactly what I'm talking about the second you start watching his video. My heart melts for him and yours will too! That’s not my favorite thing about him though…hands down that best thing about Neo are his cuddles. My goodness does this hunk love to snuggle and will snuggle with you all day if you let him. He loves to lay his head on your lap and look up at you with those gorgeous golden brown eyes of his. Watch his video and fall in love with Neo the same way we all have: https://youtu.be/kr-12daqkoE?si=QBqYiEfnnQo0GZ9I We believe Neo the Great to be half pittie, half lab, and he’s the best of both worlds! Neo is a rescue, so his exact age and breed are unknown to us and cannot be guaranteed. Neo currently weighs in at a lap-sized 64 pounds, and we estimate his age to be around 4 years old. Neo shows his age in his frosted face, but otherwise, you could never tell! This boy is happy, bouncy, and so loving! Neo is very dog friendly and is currently fostered with 2 other dogs in his loving foster home. He does great sharing toys, treats, affection, and they are even caught snuggling in bed together from time to time. They enjoy playing in the backyard together and he has even made friends with the neighbors dog too and they like to frolic along side the fence line together. He does great meeting new dogs too and does a sniff and then goes off about his business. There are times where does get a little excited when meeting new dogs, mainly on leash and will pull towards them to say hello but then its back to the scheduled program. Other than that initial excitement, He is so even keel with almost every dog he meets, and is very tolerant of even the pushiest of dogs. Every now and then he will give an appropriate correction almost like he's saying "alright now kids, that's enough go bother someone else" just like your dad would say to you when you got on his nervous LOL. Although he's not a super playful guy, he has been in playgroups with upwards of 16 dogs and is completely unphased by dogs playing around him, running around, getting in his face, all of that. He is simply just happy to hangout and watch the other dogs play. He will play from time to time, like he does with his foster siblings and with a dog he really likes, but for the most part he’s off doing his own thing, rolling around in the grass, or he’s with his favorite person. Which is ultimately his favorite place to be. Neo loves to be with people and showering them with his love and devotion. If you don’t have other dogs, that’s completely fine in Neo’s eyes. He doesn’t need the company of another dog to help him feel comfortable and open up nor does he need another dog to satisfy his energy needs. He is has a perfectly balanced energy that can match whatever you need from him. He would also do best in a home with no kittie friends in the home. Neo would love to be in a home with a backyard where he can sunbathe anytime he wants, roll in the grass, and explore all the fun smells. He enjoys spending time outside and romping around, after about 10 minutes he’s ready to come back inside and turn into a couch potato. We could also even see him being good in an apartment too. He is quiet in his crate, walks so incredibly easy on a leash, and wouldn't be bothered passing by other dogs in those smaller apartment hallways. He has great house manners and from what we have seen, he is fully potty trained. He makes himself feel right at home, finding a nice cozy spot to lay down and bonus points if that spot is snuggled up next to you. When it comes to training, Neo loves all the snacky snacks. More so crackers, cheese, french fries and super savory treats rather than healthy ones like carrots or strawberries LOL. He knows what the good stuff is. It’s so cute when he knows you have a treat or something tasty you’re about to give him because he does this little happy tap toe dance with his front paws. Just watch his video and you’ll see what we’re talking about. He already knows some basic commands and gets so excited learning new skills or even just practicing skills he already knows. His eyes immediately light up and he is completely engaged and so eager to please you. He knows how to sit, paw, down, and can even speak on command! He is so patient and takes treats very gently as well. If you’re someone that likes to take your dog with you to places, Neo will be a perfect buddy to tag along! He is an awesome car rider that loads in and out of the car with no issues and he is good about riding shotgun or in the back seat. He doesn’t try to climb in your lap while your driving nor is he bouncing from seat to seat. He is completely trusted to be loose while riding along. Neo is great with meeting new people too while out and about. He’s not going to love bomb them with affection or jump on them. Neo would also be a great companion for a family with kids. He is currently fostered with a 13 year old and has been around kids as young as 6 years old. While he is good natured, tolerant of the occasional sequel and has been nothing but gentle and patient with younger kids he would do best in a home with kids 10+. Older children will be more in tune with his boundaries and can understand when he’s just wanting to nap in peace. Overall, Neo is a very adaptable boy that just likes to be with his person(s) and be included in your life. If you’re looking for a total snuggle bug, Neo is definitely your guy! He is a loving and loyal companion to all looking for his fur-ever family. If you are in search of a classic good-boy, you have found him! If you have any questions about Neo the Great or would like us to test him for a specific setting or detail, please be in touch! We can make most anything happen to ensure he is the correct fit for you and your life! Please email kristin@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions! Story
Arie needs to be the only pet. She was socialized as a puppy early on but at around age 3 this year, she began to snap at the other pets in the house. She started guarding random items and being aggressive to the other pets. She is great alone but cannot be trusted around my other dog. I have to put her in a muzzle when I am gone to work. Its heartbreaking. She would be perfect if it was just her and I. I have 3 other pets to look after. I would like continues updates as she transitions to ensure it goes well. And will take her back if necessary.

Story
Charlie is sponsored by Erin & Cindy.Meet Charlie — Your Adventure Buddy and Cuddle King! 🐾Charlie is a handsome young pit bull with a heart as big as his zoomies! This lovable goofball is bursting with energy and affection — he’s the kind of dog who’s always ready for a walk, a game, or any excuse to be by your side.Shelter life has been tough for Charlie — all the noise and excitement get him a little too amped up. But once he’s out and about, you’ll see a whole different dog. On walks, he settles in nicely, enjoying the sights and sniffs. After he’s had a chance to burn off that puppy energy, Charlie transforms into a total snugglebug. His favorite place? Right in your lap, soaking up love and doling out kisses.Charlie’s dream home is one where he can get regular exercise, consistency in training, plenty of playtime, and most importantly — a human (or two) who doesn’t mind being his favorite pillow. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will make you laugh, move, and melt your heart every day, Charlie’s your guy. ❤️If you are interested in meeting me, the shelter is open Tuesday through Saturday 11am – 5pm, Sunday 11am-4pm (Winter Hours). If you’d like to schedule an appointment, check out the pets’ profile on our website at newberganimals.com to fill out an application and email to frontdesk@newberganimals.com.Due to COVID-19, we are currently only open by appointment. Please follow the instructions on each pet profile.
