Story
Roggenrola (named after the Pokémon) is a sweet, shy girl who is looking for a quiet, stable home. She had a rough start to life living feral for her first three months, but she's bravely facing the world every day. She does okay with my 6 year old and 9 year old, but I feel she would prefer a home that's not quite so noisy. She's doing the best when it comes to crate and potty training, loves quiet spaces, and prefers to socialize with humans when there aren't other dogs around. She's slow to warm up, but she's waiting for the perfect person. Rola is very food motivated and walks great on a leash. She may pursue cats in the yard, but she's not reactive to them in the house or on the leash.

Story
Leggs was given to me by a neighbor after they were unable/unwilling to provide adequate care to him, his littermate, and his mother. Because he was feral for the first three months of his life he is a bit timid but bravely facing the bigger world now that he's vaccinated. We go on outings at least once a week and daily walks, and he keeps moving forward (even if his tail is tucked while he does it). Leggs is very intelligent and sensitive; he is a big cuddler, but he will also pick up on negative moods easily. He enjoys having a safe space in his crate. He plays very well with the other puppies, my adult dogs, and even my senior Aussie, and he tries to play with the cats but also respects their space. He takes a bit longer to warm up, but he is the most loyal companion when he does.

Story
Daisy was handed over to me by a neighbor who was not willing/able to provide adequate care. Since then, we've worked to get her and her puppies vetted. Daisy is UTD on vaccines, HW negative, and spayed. Despite her rough life, Daisy is full of love. She's settled well into being a couch potato. She will carry her toys around for half an hour just to make sure she doesn't loose them, and so far she's only gently disassembled them. She does well on walks; not perfect, but she's comfortable on a leash and a joy to take around. She's fantastic with my senior Aussie, Corgi mix, and Dachshund mix, and she's been a great mother to her puppies. She has an eye for my cats, but I haven't had any issues (I also do not leave dogs unattended in the home). She can be a bit aloof when first meeting people, but she's quickly learning that most people are good. She deserves a loving, stable home to live out the rest of her life.

Ledyba (named after the Pokémon) was handed over by a neighbor who could not/would not provide adequate care for her mother or littermates. She had a rough start to life living feral for her first three months, but she is bravely facing the world every day. Ledyba is a huge cuddler; she loves my nine year old and is very gentle in her requests to sit in your lap. She is timid in new environments, but settles in nicely when given space to decompress. She's doing great with crate and leash training. I do not suggest Ledy to a household with cats; while she generally leaves them alone inside, I did have a singular incident when she grabbed a cat (not just chased or played). She is more interested in them outside but not reactive to them on the leash.

Story
Meet big cuddle bug and active, happy, playful pup Lucy! She is a Staffordshire lab mix originally named Faith when found by Houston shelter staff abandoned at a park. We adopted her thanksgiving week just so she wouldn’t be euthanized that day, as she was on the euthanasia list due to overcrowding at the shelter. Renamed and responds very well To “Lucy” for the last month. Lucy needs a loving and active home with someone or a family ready and willing to train her! She is mostly potty trained and knows “sit.” She is very loving and very playful, especially with other dogs. She does great at dog parks and she LOVES to run. She would do amazing having access to a yard and regular visits to a park or trails. This girl has boundless energy! She is in an active chewing phase and is working on not jumping, very puppy behaviors, but she is definitely trainable. Very treat motivated and eager to please. Wonderful, loving girl Lucy!
