Meet Ethel, a 46 pound 3 year old Doodle who came to us with her sister, Lucille.  Both girls are looking for a quiet home without small children as they can be startled by noises and fearful in new situations.   Ethel and Lucille are timid with new people, but they have already come to trust their foster family.  Ethel's foster dad says she is very affectionate with him,  loves to play with her favorite ball, enjoys going for walks and just being outside.  She gets along well with both small and large dogs and can be quite playful with her sister and the foster's dogs.   Ethel is crate trained and working on her housetraining.  Both dogs would benefit from having another dog in the family to give them confidence. A fenced yard is required. Ethel's minimum adoption fee is $250 plus a $15 rabies registration fee for McLean County residents. She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives. Story
Meet Archie, an adorable and goofy 25lb, 5-year-old male, who is guessed to be a Poodle/Schnauzer type mix. He was found as a stray and sadly went unclaimed. He was adopted from animal control, but unfortunately the other dog in the home did not like him, so they surrendered Archie to us. Archie is playful and loves going on walks, sniffing around, and being with people. He has been stressed here, so he has not been a fan of the crate but did well with being crated prior in the home. Archie is looking for a patient home to allow him to decompress and relax, so he can show his sweet, silly personality! He would do best in a home with no young children or cats. We are still working on dog introductions, but so far, he has done okay with other friendly dogs similar in size.
