    Meet Hershey! Hershey is an 11 month old, 35 lb poodle looking for his furrever home. He was unfortunately hit by a car and needs hip surgery, but once that is done he is ready to be with his people!  He absolutely loves to play with his toys, and has such a goofy personality! He loves people so much, that he will be by your side no matter what! Consider adopting this poor baby who has been through too much already at such a young age. He’s definitely worth being part of your family forever.   Your application will be reviewed by our team and if it is a good fit, we will send to the foster family to set up a meet! The adoption fee of $600 will include his surgery and any follow up, spay/neuter, microchip, age appropriate/required vaccinations, treatment for heartworm and any other necessary medical treatment to assure a healthy new pup for your family. IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: Although we do our best to describe breed, since our pups all come from shelters we can not and will not make any guarantee on breed or size. We can tell you that they are 100% RESCUED! And that is the BEST breed! *please note that we are a foster home based rescue and we do home visits as part of the adoption process - we are unable to adopt to families who live outside of the Chicago and surrounding suburbs. Meet Ethel, a 46 pound 3 year old Doodle who came to us with her sister, Lucille.  Both girls are looking for a quiet home without small children as they can be startled by noises and fearful in new situations.   Ethel and Lucille are timid with new people, but they have already come to trust their foster family.  Ethel's foster dad says she is very affectionate with him,  loves to play with her favorite ball, enjoys going for walks and just being outside.  She gets along well with both small and large dogs and can be quite playful with her sister and the foster's dogs.   Ethel is crate trained and working on her housetraining.  Both dogs would benefit from having another dog in the family to give them confidence. A fenced yard is required. Ethel's minimum adoption fee is $250 plus a $15 rabies registration fee for McLean County residents. She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
