Their mom is a terrier mix and their dad was a poodle- which makes them... Toodles?! Evangeline is a timid girl who will need time, patience, and love to build her confidence. She would do best in a home with another friendly dog to help show her the ropes and teach her that the world isn’t so scary. She’s still working on her potty training and will need continued support as she adjusts to home life. At 1.5 years old, Evangeline is the confident, wavy-coated leader of her litter. With long, loose curls that bounce as she plays, she turns heads and wins hearts wherever she goes. But Roxy’s beauty is matched by brains—she’s incredibly intelligent and picks up on cues with ease. Hello, my name is Rusty. I’m a breeder release, and I came into rescue with my very best friend Fancy, another lovely mini poodle. We were a breeding pair. Life is still pretty new and a little overwhelming for me, but with time and kindness, I’m learning what it means to feel safe and loved. I’m very shy around people because I didn’t get much socialization early in life. But don’t worry—once I warm up, I become shyly playful, especially with my foster mom. I’m still figuring out this whole “being loved” thing, and patient humans make all the difference. Where I truly shine is with other dogs. If you have a friendly, social dog at home, I bloom into a bouncy, happy boy. Without another dog, I become lonely and unsure—so I must have a canine companion in my forever home. My dream home would even include my bestie Fancy; she’s a slightly bigger version of me, wonderfully outgoing, and she helps me feel brave. My potty training is still a work in progress, but I’m trying my best every day. I am not currently leash trained but working on it. Best in a fenced yard. Journey has a strong “stranger danger” instinct and is very fearful of unfamiliar people. He takes time to adjust and will need a home with very few visitors. When guests do arrive, he should be safely separated in another room or his kennel. He is extremely entertaining and does laps around the living room. He will make you laugh. He’s kennel trained, potty trained (with occasional adjustment accidents), and learning leash skills. She’s learning to enjoy walks and adores snuggling—especially with her mom, Lola, who she is deeply bonded with. You’ll often find the two cuddled up together, offering each other comfort and love, and they must be adopted as a pair. Lady can be shy and cautious around strangers, often barking at first, but she warms up with time and patience. Lady and Lola were sadly surrendered due to young children treating her roughly, pulling at her front legs. Because of this, Lady and Lola are looking for a peaceful, adult-only home where they can feel safe and secure. Once Lady trusts you, she’s a total lovebug. She’ll happily snuggle in your lap, follow you from room to room, and burrow under the covers at night to sleep close by. She’s even been testing out dog beds lately but always prefers the warmth of her human. She thrives on affection and will wag her tiny tail with joy for pets and attention. Lady and Lola are doing well with potty training but may still have occasional accidents, especially in new environments. Patience and a consistent routine will help them continue improving.
