I’m Flapjack, a 2 year old, Standard Poodle/Spaniel mix. I’m house trained, well mannered, good with people and other dogs.   I love to play and I love water.  Yep, you guessed it, I also love playing in water and am definitely a water dog.  I’m also vocal and like to talk (not bark), but if you talk to me, I’ll talk right back at ya. I’m a big, lovable teddy bear looking for a place to call home. To submit an adoption application, visit mollysplacerescue.org. Fill the form out completely, print, scan and email back to mollysplace@verizon.net. You must obtain pre-approval prior to visiting the dog or cat. Adoptions fees include the following:    spay/neuter surgery,  microchip and registration,  age appropriate vaccinations,  initial dewormings,  Activyl for fleas,  tested for FeLV and FIV (cats only),  bubble bath prior to going home (dogs only) WE do not "HOLD" animals without an approved application and a non-refundable/non-transferable paid adoption fee.  Adoptions are on a first come, first serve basis.  We can not send extra pictures.  WE do not ship, you must pick up the pet.  Kitties must be transported in a secure cat carrier.   Pooches require a "martingale" collar and a non-retractable leash. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.(YOU MUST BE WITHIN A TWO HOUR DRIVE OF GRANTVILLE PA TO BE CONSIDERED FOR AN ADOPTER.)Posted 9/13/2024 UPDATED Bentley came to us with others from a puppy mill.  He is housetrained here and doesn't mind his crate.  Approximately 4 years old, he walks fairly well on a leash but could use a little more work.  He is good with other (large) dogs.  No small dogs or cats.  He's sweet and mellow and loves the challenge of those hard to destroy toys!  He has tested positive for Lyme but does not require daily medication.   His adoption fee is $400.  All the dogs are Spayed or Neutered, Heartworm/Lyme tested, UTD on vaccines, microchipped, dewormed, treated for fleas and overall Vet checked. Commercial breeding dogs, year after year, are housed in large numbers in small runs that have both indoor and outdoor access at all times. All day, every day, they are kept alive for one sole purpose... in anticipation for the next litter to make the breeder $$$$! This is 100% what factory farming of dogs looks like. These dogs are extremely fearful of human touch because they rarely are given any human attention. The only interaction these dogs get are when someone comes to feed them or to shove them through to the outside to clean their kennel.
