Story
Hi, I’m Rowan I’m a sweet and sensitive girl who just needs a little time to feel safe and show you my heart. Once I get to know you—especially if you’re a kind, gentle woman—I become the best cuddle buddy you could ask for. I love being close, snuggling up, and feeling secure with my person.I’ll admit, I’m still learning to be brave. Men and little kids make me nervous, so I’d be happiest in a calm home with a single woman or a pair of women without children. I’m fully housetrained, walk great on a leash, and I know a few tricks like sit, lay down, and heel!I love exploring the yard, playing, and sometimes taking the stuffing out of my toys (it’s too fun to resist!). I might be shy at first, but with patience and love, I’ll warm up and show you what a loyal, affectionate girl I truly am.Adoption fee: $450Rowan is part of our Home to Home Program. Although they are not a Pawmetto Lifeline dog, they have received the same high standards of care. Vaccinations and spay/neuter are included in the adoption fee. Please fill out an adoption application at https://pawmettolifeline.org/adoption/adoptionapplication/ or contact adoption@pawmettolifeline.org if you would like to meet this animal.

Story
Cody is 10.5-year-old teacup poodle and weighs 8.25 lbs. He rides well in a vehicle, does great on a leash and loves treats. Cody is happiest in the lap of his human and will happily stay there all day and night. He followed his previous owner like a shadow - keeping careful watch over her. He is such a lovebug! Cody loves walks and smelling all the smells. Cody is used to getting groomed and does really well. He cannot be left out in the yard as he can be picked up by larger birds. New owner will have to be selective on treats as Cody doesn’t always chew them before swallowing and will choke. He will come with a set of padded stairs to get on the couch. Cody was never formally potty trained but followed the other dogs outside. He does well when on a schedule. Cody is fully vetted, microchipped, and will have a dental cleaning and a groom prior to adoption. He is up for adoption because his owner passed away.No small children! He is too tiny! Must be adopted with another dog Amy: Cody and Amy are bonded and I want to list it that way but will separate if needed. They need a home where someone is there all the time as that is what they are used to.

Story
Amy is an 8.5-year-old purebred miniature poodle and weighs 15.5 lbs. She was adopted as a puppy, and the adopter took her home and put her in a crate and never took her out. After 16 months the adopter returned her to the breeder underweight, matted, and with really long nails. Due to this, Amy does not do well in a crate unless she can see her human. The groomer Amy sees has crated her with success, but again, Amy has to be able to see her. She loves car rides, toys, and bully sticks. Amy wants nothing more than to be with her human and get love, but after some time in a lap, she will go lay on the floor and nap. She is a social girl and loves all people. She loves taking walks and seeing new people and smelling all the smells. Amy thrives on routine and if asked if she wants to go outside she will run to the door. She does like to jump up on people when she is excited. Amy is fully vetted, microchipped, and will have a dental cleaning and a groom prior to adoption. Amy is up for adoption because her owner passed away. She is bonded with another dog Cody and needs to be adopted together with him.
