Story
Meet Smokey! Smokey is an 11 month old purebred Standard Poodle who came to us through no fault of his own. He is a SWEET boy who loves other dogs, cats and people but can be shy at first and then warms up. He is still a little jumpy so we wouldn't recommend small children unless they are used to bigger dogs. Smokey is housetrained, crated trained and a generally well behaved boy. He would love nothing more than to be your next best friend. His adoption fee is $800 and he is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, prevention and on heartworm and flea prevention. Story
**Please take a moment to read the bio in full before reaching out—this helps us respond quickly and efficiently.** Meet Nina! Breed: standard poodle. Age: est 1.5 years old. Weight: approx 50lbs. Training: crate trained, we are working on house and leash training. She will need continued training as she hasn't had many life experiences. Good with other dogs/cats? Yes, in fact, we believe she would do best with another dog in her new home to show her the ropes! Good with adults/kids? Yes, she is shy at first but she is curious. Personality: she is submissive/shy with people, especially at first. Her tail never stops wagging. She wants attention, but she is reluctant to accept it. She is still learning all about life as a companion. Reason for rescue: breeder release, retiring. * A fenced yard is required. She would do best with a confident dog in her new home who can help guide her and show her the ropes. Nina is spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative, and current on vaccinations and preventatives. If interested in adding this sweet baby to your family, please message for an adoption application! Adoption fee: $350. Please note: With limited foster homes and many dogs waiting for rescue, we are unable to place dogs on hold. Approved adopters must be ready to move forward. We welcome out-of-state adopters but do not offer transport, and an in-person meet and greet before adoption at the foster’s home is required. Thank you for your interest in adopting a rescue pet!January 6, 2026, 12:05 pm
