Meet Daisy! Breed: standard poodle mix. We were told 75% standard poodle and 25% golden retriever. Age: est 4 years. Weight: est 45-50lbs. Training: crate, leash, house trained. Knows commands. She knows sit, down, stay, and will shake. Good with other dogs/cats? Yes to dogs, but no to cats. Good with adults/kids? Yes. We were told she can be timid around men at first. Personality: friendly, playful, Affectionate. Reason for rescue: Daisy has been passed around a bit. We were told she was originally bought to breed, but after a litter they decided that wasn't for them. The most recent owner has some health issues and needed to find placement for Daisy. Daisy is microchipped, heartworm negative, and current on vaccinations and preventatives. She is scheduled to be spayed on Friday, May 3rd and will be available for adoption after that date. He is a sweet boy and ready for his forever home.  Lovable Paws Rescue is located in Ridgeland, SC.  Lovable Paws is open to the public on Saturdays from 10 till 3pm, weather permitting. All the Lovable Paws dogs have arrived as sick, injured or homeless. Please have an open heart and mind when adopting one of our dogs. They are rescue dogs so we do not have any history on them. Some will need a lot of patience and love.  Adoptions are made on a best home basis. If two excellent applications come in for the same dog we will look at when the application came in. Previous adopters have priority over new applicants. Our goal is to have the very best home for all our dogs. Our dogs are safe at our sanctuary and can live here forever if needed.  Please keep in mind that we do our best to make an educated guess as to the breeds of our rescued pets. In rescue we rarely see the parents of our dogs and puppies, and even when we do, they are usually mixed breeds as well.We rely solely on adoption fees and donations to provide care for our rescued animals, many of whom have incurred medical bills that are much higher than any possible adoption fee. The adoption fees received act to help support the organization as a whole, allowing us to continue saving lives. Biscuit is a smart and affectionate boy. He is a 5 month old, 15 lb. Aussiedoodle (I know- he looks like a teddy bear). He has been to the vet recently, is current on all vaccinations, and has no health issues. He has not been neutered yet as vet's recommend waiting until 6 months of age now. (This seems to help with bone and joint issues as dog's age. ) Biscuit needs an active home to fit his high energy level. Loves to play and love affection, too. He can be a chill boy when his human is sitting or working, but is ready to play the second they get up. He is doing well with housetraining. Not perfect yet - accidents occur when his human forgets to take him out consistently. He is used to sleeping in his crate overnight and can be left crated for a few hours at a time during the day. Biscuit is a pretty boy who needs lots of attention. He will be able to bring his crate, toys, and any other equipment he owns.
