Story
Hi… I’m Lainey Wilson. 🤍 I’m only a year old and around 50 pounds, but somehow I already know what it feels like to be scared and completely alone. I was found running through traffic, weaving between cars with no idea where I was going… just trying to survive and hoping someone would notice me before it was too late. And then someone did. Someone stopped. Someone cared. Someone chose me. That moment changed everything. Now I’m safe with CAMO, and every day I’m learning what love and comfort feel like. My body is healing beautifully — the crusty, scabbed skin I came in with is already improving so much, and my ears are almost completely healed after an infection that made life pretty uncomfortable. The vet says I’m going to be just fine, and for the first time in a long time, I think I believe that too. Because even after everything I’ve been through… my heart is still so full of love. I absolutely adore people and love being close to the ones I trust. I lean into every gentle touch like I’ve been waiting my whole life for it. I’m wonderful with other dogs and have such a sweet, affectionate spirit that shines brighter every single day. I do currently show male aggression and will need a patient, understanding home that can continue helping me feel safe and secure while I learns to trust. Despite that, I have such a loving heart and so much potential to blossom with the right family by my side. Everyone keeps talking about my “glow up,” and maybe they’re right. Maybe soon my coat will grow back soft and shiny, and my skin will heal until nobody can see the hard parts of my past anymore. But honestly, the best part of me is already here. I’m resilient. I’m loving. I still trust. And I still believe there’s a family out there who will love me the way I’ve always deserved. If you open your heart to me, I promise I’ll spend the rest of my life showing you just how grateful I am. 🐾💕 Adoption fee is: $500.00 ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. Story
Meet Big Toby Doodle, a 5-year-old, about to be 6-year-old, 45-pound Standard Poodle with a big personality and even bigger energy. Toby is a smart, active guy who thrives when he has structure, exercise, and clear leadership. He loves to run and play and will happily zoom around the yard showing off his bouncy moves and goofy grin. Once he’s had a chance to burn off that energy, Toby enjoys settling down nearby for some well-earned relaxation time. Because of his strong personality, Toby will need an experienced dog owner who is comfortable continuing his training and providing consistent boundaries. He can be food protective and has a dominant nature, so a confident handler who understands dog behavior will help him succeed. Toby is eager to learn and responds well to guidance—he just needs someone committed to helping him be his best self. Toby would do best in a home without young children and with an active lifestyle that keeps both his mind and body engaged. When he’s bored, this clever boy will find his own entertainment, so regular exercise, enrichment, and training will be key to keeping him happy. If there is another dog in the home, Toby will need a slow introduction to a calm, chill dog. For the right person, Toby has so much to offer—loyalty, intelligence, playful energy, and plenty of personality. If you’re looking for a fun, active companion and have the experience to help Toby thrive, he could be the perfect match. Adoption fee is: $300 ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com. Adoption fees are variable. Story
Meet Scarlett Swan 🐾✨ Scarlett Swan is a stunning 1½-year-old, 45 lb Standard Poodle with a fun-loving spirit and a big personality to match! This girl absolutely lives for the outdoors—whether she’s splashing in water, romping through the yard, or finding the perfect mud puddle, she’s happiest with a little adventure (and maybe a bath afterward 😉). Scarlett has that classic puppy energy, along with a few of the habits that come with it—she may chew, jump, or sneak a peek at what’s on the counter if given the chance. The good news? She’s completely house-trained and has never had an accident inside! On walks, Scarlett may sometimes hang back behind her person, but she isn’t shy—she enjoys meeting new people and happily asks for pets. She’s very people-focused and will form a strong bond with her person in no time. She’s also a bit of a talker and takes her “guard dog” duties seriously—especially when it comes to suspicious things like vacuums and hairdryers! Scarlett enjoys playing with other dogs and would do well with a confident canine companion who can help set appropriate boundaries, as her play style can be a little rough at times. She’s currently working through some lingering effects of littermate syndrome and is making great progress. She does well with kids but can be jumpy with excitement, so a home with older children would be the best fit for her. Adoption fee is: $500 ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com. Adoption fees are variable. Story
Meet Harlow Rene! This 3-year-old, 70-pound Labradoodle is ready to find her forever family. She came to us as an owner surrender and has proven to be a real sweetheart who craves attention and loves being pet. Harlow is very intelligent and already knows how to sit! She is fully house-trained and is working on her leash manners-she's a bit of a puller but improving with consistent guidance. Harlow would thrive as the only pet in her home, as she is not dog-friendly. She is also fearful of and reactive toward men, so a female-only household or one with patient individuals willing to help her build confidence around men would be ideal. This playful and affectionate girl would do best in a home with older kids who can match her energy and provide her with the love and attention she enjoys so much. Harlow is looking for a family who will embrace her quirks and give her the happy, secure life she deserves! Adoption fee is: $150 ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com. Adoption fees are variable.
