Story
Meet Stella Petunia — an 8-year-old Standard Poodle with a beautiful black-and-white coat, a gentle soul, and a heart ready to love again. At 82 pounds, Stella is a graceful girl who has been through a major life change after sadly losing her owner. Despite the changes in her world, Stella remains a sweet and affectionate companion. She’s house trained, walks nicely on leash, and does well with children. She especially loves quiet affection and has the sweetest habit of nudging her snout under your hand when she wants pets and attention. It’s her gentle little way of asking for love. Stella can be a bit skittish around loud noises, new environments, and unfamiliar people, so she’ll do best with a patient family willing to let her settle in at her own pace. Once she feels safe, her loving and loyal personality truly shines. She would prefer a home without cats or small animals, and while she can coexist with other dogs, Stella can become a little jealous or possessive of her people and personal space around them. Because of this, thoughtful introductions and respectful boundaries are important for her comfort. Stella Petunia is a soft-hearted, sensitive girl who has known loss but still has so much love left to give. She’s looking for a calm, understanding home where she can feel safe, cherished, and part of the family again. Adoption fee is: $300 ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com. Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee. Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs. For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on our past experiences, we will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs. EIN # 46-5486022

Story
Hi, I’m Joffrey. I’m a 1 and a half year old Doodle with 63 pounds of goofy, happy energy and a heart that’s just as big. I came to CAMO Rescue after an overcrowded shelter in Uvalde, Texas asked for help, and now I’m ready to find a family of my very own. If you’re looking for a couch potato, keep scrolling. If you’re looking for a fun loving adventure buddy who will keep you smiling, I might just be your guy. I’m sweet, affectionate, and always ready for whatever comes next. I’m still a young pup, so I can get excited and forget just how big I am. A little training will go a long way, and I promise I’m worth the effort. The nice people at CAMO say I’m eager to please. I keep my kennel sparkling clean, so they think I may already be house trained. They haven’t introduced me to other dogs or cats yet, but with my friendly personality, they think I’ll likely do well with other active dogs. All I need now is someone to give me a chance. I’ll bring the love, the laughs, and the wagging tail. You just bring the forever home. Adoption fee is: $450 ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com. Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee. Story
Meet Harlow Rene! This sweet, almost 4-year-old, 60-pound Labradoodle is ready to find her forever family. After coming to us as an owner surrender, Harlow has shown herself to be a loving, affectionate girl who thrives on attention and enjoys every pet she can get. Harlow is a smart cookie who already knows how to sit! She's fully house-trained and is working on her leash manners. She can be a bit of a puller, and because she is a strong girl, she’ll need a firm but gentle hand to help guide her as she continues learning. With consistency and positive guidance, she responds well and is eager to please. While Harlow is packed full of energy and always ready for fun, she has all the right ingredients to be the perfect best friend—she's loyal, affectionate, intelligent, and loves being with her people. Whether you're heading out for an adventure or relaxing at home, Harlow will be happiest right by your side. Harlow would do best as the only pet in the home, as she is not dog-friendly. She is also fearful of and reactive toward men, so a female-only household or one willing to help her build confidence around men would be ideal. This playful girl would love a home with older children who can match her energy and give her plenty of love and attention. Harlow is looking for a family who will embrace her quirks, celebrate her strengths, and give her the happy, secure life she deserves. Adoption fee is: $150 ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com. Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee. Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. Story
I found Zoey in a neighborhood in northwest Houston. I asked around to see if it it was anyone’s dog but nobody had an answer. She kept following me around so I decided to take her to see if I could find her owners since she had a collar. A month later after many posts nothing. She has now spent 2 months with me. Zoey is very lovable. Smart , wants to be around you all the time and is also very playful. Loves kids and adults the same and every interaction with other dogs has been great. She is just full of energy ( since she is a pup still) and willing to learn commands. Doesn’t guard her food and never shown any sign of aggression. She is also pretty much potty trained. Just have to keep a schedule. Sadly with my work hours I don’t have time to give her the attention she deserves. As sad as it makes me to not be able to keep her I cannot be selfish so I wish to find her a new home with people with more time and love to give her.

Story
Meet this sweet, lovable little guy! He’s a gentle and affectionate dog who enjoys being around people. He’s crate trained and does well with a routine, which makes him an easy addition to a new home. He can be a little shy at first, but once he warms up, his loving personality really shines through. With a bit of patience and kindness, he quickly becomes a loyal companion who loves attention, pets, and belly rubs. Treats are definitely the way to his heart, and he gets excited anytime he knows one is coming! He also has a playful side and enjoys chasing squirrels and exploring outside, so he’d love a home where he can get some fresh air and activity. He would do best with someone who can give him a little time to adjust and then enjoy all the affection he has to offer. He’s a sweet soul looking for a calm, loving home where he can feel safe and loved 💛
