Story
Meet Stella Petunia — an 8-year-old Standard Poodle with a beautiful black-and-white coat, a gentle soul, and a heart ready to love again. At 82 pounds, Stella is a graceful girl who has been through a major life change after sadly losing her owner. Despite the changes in her world, Stella remains a sweet and affectionate companion. She’s house trained, walks nicely on leash, and does well with children. She especially loves quiet affection and has the sweetest habit of nudging her snout under your hand when she wants pets and attention. It’s her gentle little way of asking for love. Stella can be a bit skittish around loud noises, new environments, and unfamiliar people, so she’ll do best with a patient family willing to let her settle in at her own pace. Once she feels safe, her loving and loyal personality truly shines. She would prefer a home without cats or small animals, and while she can coexist with other dogs, Stella can become a little jealous or possessive of her people and personal space around them. Because of this, thoughtful introductions and respectful boundaries are important for her comfort. Stella Petunia is a soft-hearted, sensitive girl who has known loss but still has so much love left to give. She’s looking for a calm, understanding home where she can feel safe, cherished, and part of the family again. Adoption fee is: $300 ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com. Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee. Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on our past experiences, we will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs. EIN # 46-5486022

Story
Meet Big Toby Doodle, a 5-year-old, about to be 6-year-old, 45-pound Standard Poodle with a big personality and even bigger energy. Toby is a smart, active guy who thrives when he has structure, exercise, and clear leadership. He loves to run and play and will happily zoom around the yard showing off his bouncy moves and goofy grin. Once he’s had a chance to burn off that energy, Toby enjoys settling down nearby for some well-earned relaxation time. Because of his strong personality, Toby will need an experienced dog owner who is comfortable continuing his training and providing consistent boundaries. He can be food protective and has a dominant nature, so a confident handler who understands dog behavior will help him succeed. Toby is eager to learn and responds well to guidance—he just needs someone committed to helping him be his best self. Toby would do best in a home without young children and with an active lifestyle that keeps both his mind and body engaged. When he’s bored, this clever boy will find his own entertainment, so regular exercise, enrichment, and training will be key to keeping him happy. If there is another dog in the home, Toby will need a slow introduction to a calm, chill dog. For the right person, Toby has so much to offer—loyalty, intelligence, playful energy, and plenty of personality. If you’re looking for a fun, active companion and have the experience to help Toby thrive, he could be the perfect match. Story
Meet Scarlett Swan 🐾✨ Scarlett Swan is a stunning 1½-year-old, 45 lb Standard Poodle with a fun-loving spirit and a big personality to match! This girl absolutely lives for the outdoors—whether she’s splashing in water, romping through the yard, or finding the perfect mud puddle, she’s happiest with a little adventure (and maybe a bath afterward 😉). Scarlett has that classic puppy energy, along with a few of the habits that come with it—she may chew, jump, or sneak a peek at what’s on the counter if given the chance. The good news? She’s completely house-trained and has never had an accident inside! On walks, Scarlett may sometimes hang back behind her person, but she isn’t shy—she enjoys meeting new people and happily asks for pets. She’s very people-focused and will form a strong bond with her person in no time. She’s also a bit of a talker and takes her “guard dog” duties seriously—especially when it comes to suspicious things like vacuums and hairdryers! Scarlett enjoys playing with other dogs and would do well with a confident canine companion who can help set appropriate boundaries, as her play style can be a little rough at times. She’s currently working through some lingering effects of littermate syndrome and is making great progress. She does well with kids but can be jumpy with excitement, so a home with older children would be the best fit for her. Adoption fee is: $500 ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com. Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee. Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. Story
Meet Harlow Rene! This 3-year-old, 70-pound Labradoodle is ready to find her forever family. She came to us as an owner surrender and has proven to be a real sweetheart who craves attention and loves being pet. Harlow is very intelligent and already knows how to sit! She is fully house-trained and is working on her leash manners-she's a bit of a puller but improving with consistent guidance. Harlow would thrive as the only pet in her home, as she is not dog-friendly. She is also fearful of and reactive toward men, so a female-only household or one with patient individuals willing to help her build confidence around men would be ideal. This playful and affectionate girl would do best in a home with older kids who can match her energy and provide her with the love and attention she enjoys so much. Harlow is looking for a family who will embrace her quirks and give her the happy, secure life she deserves! Adoption fee is: $150 ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com. Adoption fees are variable. Norman is a sweet senior Poodle weighing just 11 pounds, and he truly embodies the definition of a perfect lap dog. His eyes are a bit cloudy with age, but it doesn’t slow him down — he navigates his world just fine and still enjoys being part of everything going on around him. Norman absolutely adores people and will happily curl up beside you for affection and companionship. Gentle, loving, and easygoing, he also gets along wonderfully with other dogs. Story
Oreo is a Golden Doodle/Australian Cattle Dog (Blue Heeler) mix. I’ve had him since he was born, and he’s now 6.5 months old. He’s a very energetic puppy who loves to run, play, and even tries to herd us—which is honestly really cute. He can be a little apprehensive around strangers, mostly because I haven’t been able to socialize him as much as I would’ve liked. Since moving to Texas, my schedule has changed and I’m gone more than I’m home, which hasn’t allowed me to give him the time and attention he truly deserves. He is currently doing well on Hill's Science Diet Adult Light Chicken, which has been the only food that doesn’t upset his stomach. I want what’s best for Oreo, and I believe he would thrive in a home where he has plenty of space to run and play, and someone who can spend more time with him. He would likely do especially well on a farm or in an active household. Oreo is crate trained and has so much potential—he just needs the right environment to live his life fully.
