Story
Elvira was found abandoned on a property and while we are still getting to know her she has proved to be a happy and playful girl. She did fine with dogs and cats and while she hasn't been around young children we are pretty sure she will just jump up and lick them. With that said, she is very jumpy and will need work with that 😊 Her fur is shorter in some spots as seen in photos because someone attempted to shave her down. Once it grows out she will be even more gorgeous then she is now. Her foster said she has done wonderfully in the house and crate so far but will definitely need more work with a crate as she has some separation anxiety when first left in it. Elvira just needs a fmaily that will show her the love and patience she deserves

Story
Standard Poodle Male Silver/Beige 6 years old 55 lbs Meet Bear: This sweet, easygoing boy is friendly with everyone he meets, including people, children, other dogs, and even cats. He's house-trained, has excellent manners, and is a joy to have around. Bear walks beautifully on a leash without pulling, knows commands like sit, stay, down, and paw, and can be trusted with free roam of the house. He's not a chewer, doesn't counter surf, and is respectful of your home. Bear's absolute favorite activity is playing fetch! Tennis balls are his favorite, and if you're busy, he'll happily entertain himself by tossing one around. While balls are his toy of choice, he's not particularly interested in other toys. One important thing to know about Bear is that he thrives with canine companionship. He becomes lonely when left as the only dog, so he must be adopted into a home with another friendly dog to keep him company. If you're looking for a well-mannered, affectionate companion who is ready to fit seamlessly into family life, Bear may be your perfect match! Please Note: **No children under 10!** If you are interested in adopting BEAR, please visit our website at www.somersetcottagepoodlerescue.org to learn about our adoption process and click on ADOPT to submit the adoption application BEAR's adoption donation is $895

IF YOU ARE VIEWING THIS LISTING ON PETFINDER OR ADOPT-A-PET, please visit www.caninesandkittiesrescue.org to access adoption requirements, more information and pictures. Meet Baliee! 🐾💕 Age: 6 months old Weight: 36 lbs. — and still has some growing to do! Breed: Best guess is a Terrier/Poodle mix, but her breed is unknown Coat: Sheds minimally, but we do not consider or promote any dog as hypoallergenic House Trained: Yes! Crate Trained: Yes! Training: Knows “sit” Dogs: Loves other dogs Cats: Unknown — she is not fostered with cats Kids: Bailee doesn't live with children, but we feel she would do fine with respectful children 11 years and up. Energy Level: Active, playful puppy Medical: Spayed, up to date on vaccines & microchipped Ideal Home: An adopter who is home a portion of the day since Baliee is still a young puppy Baliee sounds like an all-around wonderful girl! ❤️ She loves people, enjoys other dogs, and already has a great start with her house training, crate training, and basic manners. At just 6 months old, Baliee is still very much a puppy, which means she has plenty of energy! She needs an adopter committed to giving her lots of outdoor playtime, daily exercise, continued training, and attention. Because of her age, she also needs a home where someone is home a portion of the day and can continue giving her the structure, exercise, and companionship a young dog needs. If you're looking for a friendly, happy, active young dog who already has some great manners under her belt, Baliee may be your girl! 🐶💕 The Adoption Fee for this puppy $400.00 ***You must be at least 25 years of age to adopt from CKRescue*** The adoption fee for this dog is $400, which helps with the cost of routine vet care. This fee DOES NOT INCLUDE spay/neuter if the pup is not already spayed/neutered. If the animal you are adopting is not already spayed/neutered, you will be required to sign a contract legally obligating you to have the animal altered. A $100.00 fee will be returned to the adopter once the animal has been sterilized. We will provide information on this process during the approval process. ***Note that puppy adoption fees most often help generate revenue that goes towards older, special needs animals that need our help. Surgeries, heartworm treatment, boarding costs and/or all things that often result in adoptable dogs and cats being left behind to be euthanized. So, adopting a puppy saves not just one life, but many! ***Please note that our first step in approving adoption applicants is to complete a vet check. Vetting of current and past pets is very important to us, thus we will be speaking with the vet(s) listed on your application to ensure that your current and previous pet(s) are kept up to date on vaccines (including rabies), spayed or neutered, maintained on appropriate monthly preventatives and examined annually by your vet.*** Our organization cannot guarantee the exact breed of any animal in our care. The breed listed is based on any background we may have been provided, and/or the general appearance of the animal. **Please visit www.caninesandkittiesrescue.org to complete our non-binding application.**
