Story
Thelma and Louise are a bonded pair of best friends. They are both spayed females about 3 years old. They were found running the streets filthy, matted and emaciated. They were impounded at a shelter which held them for a required number of days before putting them up for adoption. They couldn't find anybody that would take the pair together and so they sent them up to rescue. These two dogs are absolutely adorable together. The little one is the boss for sure, but she's not mean or nasty like little dogs can sometimes be but Louise does follow her everywhere. They sleep together. They eat together, they play together. They love other dogs and all people. Both girls will need a little help with housebreaking. But they are very smart and learning quickly. They ride in the car beautifully so somebody must have loved them at some time. I think they would make excellent snowbird travelers. They love to travel. They are both excellent on the leash and neither one are yappers. They'll stay nicely in a 4-ft fence and just want to be loved. Both girls will require regular professional grooming going forward so take that cost into account before applying.

Story
Hi, my name is Smokey! I’m abt 60 lbs, full of energy, and always happy. I’m looking for a new home with plenty of space and an active owner who can give me the exercise and routine I thrive on. I do best with a consistent schedule and a job to keep me busy, I am kennel trained and potty trained, and I usually eat my meals in my kennel. I know several commands, including sit, stay, wait, and lay down. Ialso been taught not to jump on the couchthough Ill admit I forget sometimes! I have a chicken allergy, so I need to avoid food with chicken because it makes me itchy.I’m a big fan of chewing, and there isn’t a toy I haven’t tried to destroy yet. If socks or hats are left lying around, I might see them as toys too, so keeping those picked up helps me stay out of trouble. I currently live with my husky brother, Ruckus, and sister, Ivy, and we all get along . However, our home and yard aren’t quite big enough for all of us If you’re looking for a loyal, energetic companion adopt me!
