Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs and we enjoy seeing their progress!    Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet.    The rescue’s hard costs alone (excluding transport) for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,368. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the adoption fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. Transport is a significant additional expense to the rescue.  While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that the rescue does not receive government funding and must fundraise to offset the remaining expense balance which ranges $100-1,000++ per animal on these direct costs.   It doesn’t stop there! If you're looking for a dog who believes life is better when we're together, I think we should meet! My favorite place in the world? Right next to you...or even better, on your lap! I'm a total cuddle bug, I give amazing hugs, and if you move from one room to another, don't worry—I was planning on going there too. I just really love being with my humans. I'm pretty laid back most of the time, but I also enjoy getting outside, going for walks (I'm a good girl on a leash!), and I've recently discovered how much fun it is to play with other dogs. My buddy Buddy has been teaching me that wrestling and zoomies are pretty awesome, so I'd love a home with another friendly dog to hang out with. I also have a little secret...I'm more athletic than I look! Apparently I've been watching the deer, because I figured out how to jump a fence just like they do. So I'll need a home with a tall, secure fence and people who will keep an eye on me when I'm outside. Let's talk about food...I LOVE it! Baz is a loving rescue Standard poodle X who was adopted by us after he was surrendered by his previous owners following a car accident. He had surgery followed by physiotherapy to get him back in shape and he’s now a very active dog. He’s great with kids, cats and other dogs. Although he loves a zoomy, he equally enjoys being able to laze around with his family. Unfortunately we’re relocating and need to find a forever home for him.

Finley is a 4 year old labradoodle. He is the sweetest dog and will cuddle all day long. When it comes to playing he is puppy like and will run around, play fetch, and tug a war. He is amazing with little kids. Great with other dogs. He is kennel trained. He does jump when excited and he will steal food off of the counters.

I am rehoming Jake for a family member. My family member does not have a suitable housing situation to properly care for a dog. Jake seems like a very sweet and loving dog. We are unsure about how he does with other dogs so it would probably be best for him to be the only dog in the household.
