The three of us - Chloe, Layka, and Luna - have had a great time growing together in Puerto Rico. We look so alike that we've pulled off the switcheroo trick often! But now we're ready to split up and get our own humans in the DC area. This is what we are looking for: Sniffy walks, romps, all the adventures our families can dream up, and lots of snuggles! Coat maintenance is important to us too - daily brushing, please, to make sure we don't get all matted.    But you know what I want most of all? To be safe and loved, to know where I belong. In exchange I promise so many adoring gazes and love and loyal companionship for all my days. What do you say? Do I get to go home with you? What My Foster Says About Me: Luna is just the sweetest little muppet. She was a little nervous after the long journey from Puerto Rico but warmed up quickly! She walks confidently on a leash, even with all the new sights and sounds in the city. She loves giving kisses and will gladly accept endless belly rubs. She adores bully sticks, XXL dog beds, and sniffy walks with the resident pup. After exploring the neighborhood, she's happy to curl up for a long nap on the couch and does really well sleeping in her crate overnight. With a little extra patience as she continues to adjust to life in the DMV, she'll make an adorable companion for any family!  Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.  TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for this dog is $460, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter. Story
McGraw (aka “The Audacity in a Fur Coat” ) McGraw is a 6-month-old Schnauzer mix who radiates confidence, charm, and pure audacity. He’s cute — offensively cute — which is fortunate, because he’s also a bit of a menace. Honestly, he’s lucky he’s handsome. It’s the only reason we haven’t sent him packing for his unapologetic antics. He’s brilliant, but not in a helpful way. You can expect a constant stream of feedback—he’s nothing if not expressive. He’ll let you know exactly how he feels about everything— sometimes through barking, sometimes through grumbling, and occasionally through what we’ll call “constructive growling.” Don’t worry, it’s mostly just his way of expressing that you’ve mildly inconvenienced him. He’s the type of dog who’ll steal your heart and your spot on the couch, then growl when you try to take it back. He does well with kids, cats, and other dogs — assuming everyone understands who’s in charge here (hint: it’s McGraw ). He’s crate trained, picking up house training, neutered, vaccinated, and running entirely on confidence and misplaced self-importance. He’ll make you laugh, cry, and question your life choices , often in the same hour. McGraw will require an adopter with either a lot of experience or the patience of a saint — preferably both. You’ll need a sense of humor, low blood pressure, and a good understanding of irony. If you enjoy sarcastic commentary, mildly toxic relationships, and being bossed around by someone under two feet tall, McGraw is your guy. Apply now, or don’t— his self esteem will remain unaffected.

These pups are in Washington, District of Columbia too!

Story
📌 Important Adoption Information All of our dogs are currently living in private shelters or foster homes in South Korea. Once an adoption is approved, dogs will travel to the United States through legal and approved international transport procedures. Video calls are available prior to adoption, and adopters can communicate with our rescue team in real time through our official organization and app-based messaging channels throughout the process. Meet Hudson👋🏻 This gentle, handsome boy was rescued as a puppy in 2021 from a small village in South Korea, along with his five siblings. While they’ve all found their forever families, Hudson is still waiting patiently at the shelter he’s called home ever since. It's hard to believe a dog as sweet, playful, and good-looking as Hudson hasn’t received more attention! We’re hopeful that the right family is out there—one that will give him the love and sense of belonging he truly deserves. • Personality: Gentle, Friendly, Goofy Hudson can be a little reserved at first, but once he feels comfortable, he becomes curious, friendly, and affectionate. He loves to greet people with a wag and a smile! / His energy level is moderate. • Affinity with - Dogs: Hudson is social and playful with other dogs, especially those around his size. He loves to run and play! - Cats: Not tested - Adults/Kids: Great with adults / Not tested with kids • Walking Manners: Hudson’s leash-walking skills are still developing—he’s used to roaming freely in the outdoor shelter. He follows along during walks with volunteers, though he can get a little nervous in unfamiliar places or when cars go by. • Housetrained: Hudson will need some time and guidance with house training as he adjusts to a home environment. He will probably prefer the outdoors once he has regular walks. • Bathing/Brushing: He’s a champ! He enjoys baths, brushing, and even trimming. • Car Sickness: Not tested • Separation Anxiety: Zero. • Barks/Howls: Not much • Appetite/Food Allergies: Eats well. No food allergies found so far. • Shedding level (1~10): 6 • Likes/Dislikes: Hudson loves being petted and soaking up affection. • Health: A healthy pup! 💙 Adoption Fee Information The adoption fee already includes all major expenses, such as: International transportation, Customs and export documentation, Medical care (spay surgery, vaccinations, health certificate, deworming, etc.) For this reason, we kindly ask that you refrain from requesting a breakdown or negotiation of the adoption fee. Your support directly helps us continue rescuing and caring for dogs in need, and we sincerely appreciate your understanding.
