Scruff is looking for his forever home in the Los Angeles area! Scruff is around 2 years old and is a very sweet and social boy. He is dog and kid approved and does fantastic with his fosters kids! Scruff was pulled from the euthanasia list at a local shelter. He does not use his front left paw, but our vet has determined it does not affect his overall wellbeing and it certainly does not hinder his playful lifestyle! Story
This handsome little man is Riley!  Riley is a 7-month-old Schnauzer mix.  He was recently surrendered to E.A.R.S.  Riley gets excited when it’s play time and he also enjoys going for walks.  However, climbing into a lap is still his favorite thing to do.  Riley does well with other small dogs (we are unsure of how he will do with larger dogs or cats).  He will make a fun addition to any family or a wonderful companion. Story
This shy handsome man is Mikey! Mikey is a 4-year-old Schapso (Schnauzer/Lhasa Apso mix).  He came to E.A.R.S. from a terrible hoarding situation. Mikey has made amazing progress since arriving at E.A.R.S.  When Mikey first arrived, he was so scared.  For a few months, Mikey wouldn’t let anyone near him.  He spent a lot of time decompressing.  However, with a lot of love, patience, time and understanding from all the volunteers, Mikey has really come out of his shell. He enjoys going for walks and exploring the paddock.  And of course, he can’t say no to treats! He is still working through some things like sensitivity to noise, sudden movements and the dark.  For these reasons, Mikey would do best in a quiet environment and being handled gently.  Mikey would do best in a home with older kids.  Mikey’s new family needs to understand that he will need love, patience, understanding and time while he adjusts to his new family.
