All household members and any dogs from the household need to be present to be able to adopt. A photo ID will be required at the time of adoption. Appointments are recommended. All applications are considered general. Specific animals are NOT put on hold for adoption. When you visit, our adoption counselors will be able to make suggestions based on the type of pet you are looking for and help you find the best fit for your family. Animal House Shelter cannot guarantee the breeds of the adoptable animals. The animals are posted on the website as the breed or breed mix based on their physical characteristics they most resemble. I`m Charlie, a mini Schnauzer mix that weighs about 27 lbs. I`m extremely sweet but a little nervous sometimes. Having another dog in the home helps me feel more confident. I love walks but get tired quickly and need to rest sometimes. I love meeting new people and dogs, everyone has the potential to be a really cool friend! My favorite thing is trying to find squirrels in the backyard.
