AVAILABLE SOON! I haven’t arrived at the adoption center just yet - I’m getting ready for adoption! Please fill out an adoption application if you’d like to meet me once I’m available. I'm 46 lbs., and I am looking for my forever home. Adoption Donation: $500 All dogs are microchipped, neutered, current on all vaccines, heartworm tested (if age appropriate), and up-to-date on preventatives at the time of adoption. All household members and any dogs from the household need to be present to be able to adopt. A photo ID will be required at the time of adoption. Appointments are recommended. All applications are considered general. Specific animals are NOT put on hold for adoption. When you visit, our adoption counselors will be able to make suggestions based on the type of pet you are looking for and help you find the best fit for your family. Animal House Shelter cannot guarantee the breeds of the adoptable animals. The animals are posted on the website as the breed or breed mix based on their physical characteristics they most resemble. Bennett is a sweet, playful, bundle of cuteness just waiting for his forever home. Hewould love a fenced in back yard where he can do his zoomies and pounce on tennis balls thatyou throw for him. He was found as a stray in Alabama and is working on his potty and cratetraining. Bennett’s a nice medium size at 35 to 40 pounds and loves everyone he meets. He likesother dogs, and has passed the cat test – he really wasn’t interested. He’s a bit timid goingthrough unfamiliar doorways and up and down stairs, but learning quickly. He’s treat motivatedand learned the sit and down commands really fast, so will be a quick learner with moreobedience training and walking on a leash. He has been really good overnight and for times athome alone, staying and sleeping in a confined area while he’s still working on beingcomfortable in a crate. Born around May 6, 2024, and weighing approximately 30 pounds, this lovable boy is ready to start a new chapter after a rough beginning. He was sadly left behind when his family moved away, but thanks to a kind-hearted Good Samaritan, Sebastian was rescued and given a second chance at life. Now he’s looking for an active family that will never leave him behind again. Sebastian is full of playful, puppy energy and thrives on companionship—he wants nothing more than to be near his people at all times. He can be vocal when separated or caged away from the family, simply because he loves being part of the action. Daily exercise, playtime, and mental stimulation will help him shine in his new home. If you're looking for a loyal, energetic companion who will keep you smiling and moving, Sebastian is your guy! His adoption fee is $300. Why does this adorable girl have 2 names? Well she was adopted from the shelter years ago, and we already have a Willow so deciphering the two was Willow Perdi and Willow. Sounded better than saying old Willow, new Willow??Willow P will gladly do anything for treats. She sure does love her food, but who doesn’t. Willow P is looking for a home where it can be just her and her person. Sometimes dogs just don’t want to share their space, and that’s OK. Ronnie Neutered Male 2 years old 32lbs Breed Guess: Shepherd / Schnauzer HW+ Ronnie is such a gentle, tender boy with the sweetest disposition. He was abandoned with his buddy Galaxy and they were found wandering the streets of rural Alabama. He was so happy to be rescued and has been the smushiest lovebug. He's great with people and other dogs, quiet, lower energy, and just a dream. He's submissive and tender, and will do beautifully in a calmer environment where he can get lots of love and gentle encouragement. Ronnie is being treated for heartworms, which is being taken care of by the shelter.
