Hi there! I’m Anny the precious little breeder release mini Schnauzer retired momma. So many things have changed since I was rescued from the awful and traumatic breeding life last fall. First and foremost, I am learning what it means to be a safe and adored family member - a life that I never dreamed was even possible. Next, I’m learning that not all humans are awful. I still don't like being picked up / it still scares me a lot. I now take treats from my foster mom and dad and quite like them. I'm very cautious, and it takes me a long time to warm up, but I do eventually, after a lot of time.  Loud noises still terrify me, so I am not a good fit for a home with small children or a lot of disorganized chaos. I am still very much in training on accepting a leash and walking, but I have come a long, long way, and actually quite like walking with my foster sister. In fact, I'm the greatest doggie sibling that ever was because I'm independent, playful, silly, sweet, and love every doggie I've met as long as they’re close in size to me. I am often found hanging out in my foster sister and brother’s bed or kennel, sometimes even with them still in there, too. I love to chew my bully sticks, greenies, and no hide chews. I also love to play with my toys. There are some special needs that I must have in my next loving home - 1. Another confident doggie sibling. I don't like being alone, and I need to follow a good fur leader. 2. A secure fenced yard is a must. I need to be kept safe at all costs because I am still in doggie training, and I don't like being leashed, and it takes me a good long while to trust that process. Until I do, I am a flight risk. 3. A really patient and caring dog mom or dad. I have been through a lot of unfair and icky experiences in my short life. I am not immediately cuddly, and I need a safe and cozy space of my own. I do like sleeping in the bed with my foster mom, dad, and siblings. The end of their bed is one of my most favorite places, along with my place in front of the fireplace and my fuzzy rug, bed, and crate. 4. Lots of training. Guess what? I'm a purebred terrier girl. That means I’m stubborn and have a big mind of my own. Training to listen, walk, sit, focus, and come to my human is an absolute necessity. If you're willing to accept me for my tiny quirks, let me tell you what / you will just love me. I'm such a sweet girl. I'm just a little mischievous clown. I have the most fantastic terrier head tilt! I’m a Schnauzer mix (aka cuteness overload), weighing in at a perfect 13 pounds of wiggles and love. I’m still just a puppy—under six months old—but don’t let my age fool you. I’m already working hard on my grown-up skills like potty training and leash walking (I mean, have you tried walking straight when every leaf is exciting?). I’m a happy-go-lucky girl who’s never met a human I didn’t like. Seriously, people are my jam. I’m also a toy enthusiast, bone aficionado, and treat connoisseur (not picky, though—I’ll happily accept anything delicious or chewable). I love being outside—zoomies in the yard are my favorite—and when I’m not running or playing, I’m probably chewing something. I’m teething, so hey, it’s a legitimate hobby. I’m a 6 year old Schnauzer who loves nothing more than hanging out with my humans, getting all the pets (I can’t get enough!), and chilling in my crate like the king I am. Yep, my crate is my happy place—it's where I feel cozy and safe, so don’t even think about trying to get me to sleep in your bed. I’ll happily join you for a cuddle session though, as long as I get to return to my little den after! I’m pretty chill, I’ve got excellent manners, and I’m one of the easiest dogs you'll ever meet. I don’t chew, I don’t have accidents, and I’m super gentle. I might not run around like a puppy, but I do a cute little gallop in the backyard that’ll make you smile. I’m an expert at walking on a leash—no pulling here! Oh, and I might be a little “curved” in the back, but it just adds to my charm. I won’t “sit” on command like a robot, but I’ll totally do it on my own terms (I’m a free spirit that way).  I'm also hoping to have a furever home with not many stairs as they aren't the bestest for me.   I love getting scratched—basically anywhere from head to tail, but especially my ears—and I’m a total pro at bath time. I’m not a fan of the rain, but I’ll brave it for a walk, because walks are life. I’m good with other dogs of all sizes, but I’m best with a human or dog buddy who’s around a lot. I don’t love being left alone for long stretches, so I’d do best with someone who’s home a lot, retired, or works from home. He is looking for a forever home that can keep up with his playful energy, big heart, and love for adventure. Bentley is the life of the party wherever he goes. He loves everyone—people, dogs of all sizes, and even new environments. Nothing rattles this confident pup, except maybe the occasional vacuum, which he bravely barks at and tries to challenge. Whether he's running around at full speed, going for walks, or carrying all the toys into the yard for one of his self-created games, Bentley approaches life with enthusiasm and charm. He thrives on being part of the action and wants to be included in everything his people and dog friends are doing. He is crate trained, nearly potty trained with a consistent schedule, and knows basic commands like sit, down, come, kennel, and leave it. Bentley is also incredibly smart and food-motivated, making training both fun and effective. While he would love a home with another playful dog, it’s not required—as long as his humans are active, patient, and ready to channel his puppy energy. He’s great with children, though his excitement might be a bit much for very young kids as he tends to jump up in greeting. Bentley walks on a leash, though he pulls a bit, and would benefit from continued leash training. He enjoys having access to a fenced yard, where he can run and play freely. Meet Cullen! This 1-year-old, 19-pound schnoodle was found as a stray, but he’s already winning hearts with his fun, happy personality and undeniable cuteness! He’s full of playful energy and loves being around people. Right now, Cullen can be a little picky with his dog friends—he’s still settling in and figuring out who he can trust. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Gigi – A Resilient Soul with a Heart Full of Love Some dogs have a story that tugs at your heart—and Gigi’s is one of them. This 10-year-old beauty was found during a snowstorm, abandoned and alone in an impounded car. No one came forward to claim her, but that heartbreaking beginning led her to a second chance—one she's grabbing onto with all the love she has left to give. When Gigi was first rescued, she was a hot mess (scroll through her photos and you’ll see what we mean!). Matted fur, neglected teeth, and a spirit in need of care. But a fresh haircut, some dental work, and a whole lot of love later, Gigi has officially had her glow-up—and she’s never looked back. Life hasn’t been easy for this sweet senior. Gigi recently suffered a small stroke, but in true survivor fashion, she bounced back like a champ. The only lasting sign is a slight head tilt—which honestly just makes her even more endearing. It’s her little reminder to the world: “I’ve been through some stuff, but I’m still standing.” Gigi is deaf, but don’t let that fool you—she’s incredibly tuned in to the people she loves. She’s gentle, affectionate, and loves being near her humans. She’s partially potty trained and improving every day with a bit of guidance and consistency. She does bark when left alone, so a home without shared walls is ideal for this chatty lady. She’d also love a fenced-in yard to safely explore and a furry companion to show her the ropes and keep her company when her people are away. Gigi may be a senior, but her heart is young. She came into foster care when her owner passed away. Ginger is shy at first but warms up quickly and will come to you for attention. She is potty trained, doesn't like to go up or down stairs, and likes to go for rides in the car. She is easy going and just wants love and attention. She is starting to take treats out of my hand and is a little protective of any treats on the floor. When you are outside and call her name, she will lay down for you to pick her up.
