Oxford was surrendered to a shelter in Texas when his family could no longer care for him. He had a growth in his mouth that required surgery which he has now had, thanks to NorthStar. This sweet senior boy is 11 years old and is very skinny at 8 pounds. His foster mom says that he is VERY loving and loves nothing more than cuddling up in a warm lap. And he's housetrained plus crate trained. We will post more information about Oxford after we find out more about his future health care needs. Found in a shelter, his past is a mystery—but his future is all about love, belly rubs, and squeaky toys. He rocks a signature head tilt (likely from a past head injury), and honestly, it just makes him look like he’s permanently curious about your life choices. Spoiler: he approves of them all. Ollie may have some very minor visual deficiencies most likely due to that same head injury but our veterinary partner doesn't see any issues with daily living.  This happy, handsome guy is basically the definition of good vibes. We know he once had a fabulous life as he was decked out in a fancy creative haircut when he was taken into a shelter.
