Story
Meet Jack! Jack is a handsome, happy-go-lucky boy about a year and a half old. He’s neutered, up to date on core vaccines, and microchipped. At a solid 65 pounds, Jack is full of playful energy and enthusiasm for life. He loves to play and would thrive in a home with a fenced yard where he can run and burn off energy. Jack does well with other dogs and enjoys being around kids, but due to his size and bouncy nature, a home without small children would be best. Jack is friendly and affectionate, always excited to meet new people. He can be selective with men and may need extra time, patience, and gentle guidance to build trust. With continued training, structure, and positive experiences, he has great potential to grow in confidence. An active family or individual who enjoys walks, playtime, and engagement would be a great match for Jack. In return, he’ll offer loyalty, joy, and plenty of tail wags.   Interested in adopting me?  To fill out an application visit 3 Hearts 4 Paws.  Please note: we generally do not adopt out of state (NJ).  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 21, 2025, 8:23 pm

Story
Lucy has been through a lot in her past homes. She was mistreated by both the adults and the children she lived with, which has caused her to be very uncomfortable around young kids. Unfortunately, this wasn’t shared with me when I adopted her — I learned about it later. Lucy has tried to charge at two younger children in my family, and with me expecting my first baby, I don’t feel it’s safe for her to be around an infant in the future. This is truly no one’s fault — she’s traumatized and scared, not aggressive by nature. Despite her past, Lucy is incredibly loving, sweet, and loyal. She’s a great dog with a big heart. She does bark, but she listens when told to stop. She loves being outside, sunbathing, and going on her four daily walks. Lucy would thrive in a home without young children and with someone who understands her background. She does do well with older kids, like teenagers. She would make a wonderful companion for the right family or individual.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Ollie: The Tilted-Head HeartthrobOllie is a 3-year-old mini-Schnauzer who proves that being different is downright adorable. Found in a shelter, his past is a mystery—but his future is all about love, belly rubs, and squeaky toys. He rocks a signature head tilt (likely from a past head injury), and honestly, it just makes him look like he’s permanently curious about your life choices. Spoiler: he approves of them all. Ollie is also currently blind, most likely due to that same head injury. Time will tell if his sight improves, but for now he’s learning to navigate the world in his own special way—and he doesn’t let it slow him down one bit. This happy, handsome guy is basically the definition of good vibes. He’s great with people, loves hanging out with other dogs, and has mastered the art of looking like the star of every TikTok trend. Ollie doesn’t let anything stop him—he’s too busy spreading joy, wagging his tail, and posing like a canine influencer. Ready to add a little extra tilt to your world? Apply online to adopt Ollie at www.rescuedogsrocknyc.org. . Because life’s better when you see it from Ollie’s angle. Please be sure to reference this pet's name as Ollie (GA) in case of duplicate names within the rescue.
