Story
Lucy has been through a lot in her past homes. She was mistreated by both the adults and the children she lived with, which has caused her to be very uncomfortable around young kids. Unfortunately, this wasn’t shared with me when I adopted her — I learned about it later. Lucy has tried to charge at two younger children in my family, and with me expecting my first baby, I don’t feel it’s safe for her to be around an infant in the future. This is truly no one’s fault — she’s traumatized and scared, not aggressive by nature. Despite her past, Lucy is incredibly loving, sweet, and loyal. She’s a great dog with a big heart. She does bark, but she listens when told to stop. She loves being outside, sunbathing, and going on her four daily walks. Lucy would thrive in a home without young children and with someone who understands her background. She does do well with older kids, like teenagers. She would make a wonderful companion for the right family or individual.

She has aone-of-a-kindpranceimagine a giraffe mixed with a young filly, with a little elephant soundtrack for flairand she proudly struts through a room like she owns the place. Her gait may be a bit wonky, but her charm is perfectly balanced. At just 8 months old, Georgia is still very much a puppy. She can get a little mouthy when shesextraexcited, but its all part of her goofy enthusiasm for life. She adores toys, absolutely loves other dogs, and is happiest when she has a buddy to play with. Georgia would do best in afirst-floor living situation, as stairs are still a mystery she hasnt quite solved yet. Shes rocking a cute gray-and-black wiry coat and is doing great withhouse training and crate training. Leash walking is a work in progress, but shes eager to learn and ready to keep practicing. If youre looking for a joyful, funny, slightly clumsy puppy who will make you laugh daily and fill your home with love (and happy stomp-stomp sounds), Georgia just might be your girl.
