Meet Jedi, a sweet, eager-to-please boy who is ready to put his difficult past behind him and find the loving family he has always deserved. With his adorable scruffy face and happy personality, this handsome guy is sure to charm his way into your heart.Jedi was removed from his previous home in Texas due to mistreatment and eventually found himself at a local shelter. Sadly, when his time ran out, he was scheduled to be euthanized. Thankfully, one of our wonderful southern fosters stepped up to save him, giving Jedi the second chance he so desperately deserved. Jedi is a loving, friendly boy who is excited about life and the people in it. He absolutely loves other dogs and enjoys having canine friends. He also lives peacefully with cats in his foster home, mostly ignoring them. His foster's cats are confident and don't run from him, so a home with similarly dog-savvy cats would likely be the best fit. Jedi has also done wonderfully with the neighbor's children, happily playing and enjoying their company.This medium-energy boy does well on leash, although he may pull at times, and he would benefit from continued practice with his leash skills and basic manners. He is eager to please, which should make training a wonderful way for Jedi and his new family to bond. He's also a superstar in his crate—he sleeps quietly through the night from about 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. without barking or having accidents.Jedi's ideal home would be with an active family who will include him in their adventures, continue teaching him all the things a good boy needs to know, and, most importantly, shower him with the love and kindness he missed out on earlier in life.Jedi's past may not have been the one he deserved, but his future can be.
