Meet Creed! This dashing standard schnauzer was a recent transfer after his owner needed to surrender due to their own health. Creed will need children 6 and up in his future home. He has previously lived with other dogs and is said to do well with them. We will require a dog to dog introduction just to make sure everyone gets along. Due to his breed regular grooming will be a must for Creed! We have a great list of local groomers we always recommend! If you would like to meet Creed or have further questions please speak with our kennel team who will be happy to help!

Welcome Lanny to OBG!  Lanny is a gorgeous schnauzer-poodle mix with lots of pep in his step.  He is around 10 years old and weighs 17 pounds.  Lanny is very friendly and enjoys walking in his neighborhood.  He also enjoys toys, especially shredding the toys! LOL   Lanny is fostered with a senior pup, and he is fine around other dogs.  He is house trained with good house and car manners.  Lanny is allowed to be crate free and easily handles the stairs in his foster's townhouse. Do you have time and room in your life for a foster dog? http://www.muttloverescue.org/foster.html *****************   Jock was originally adopted from a rescue located in Alabama.  When he proved to be too active for the adopter's two senior dogs, they asked if Mutt Love would find him a loving home and of course we said yes.  Jock is about two years old and weighs about 30 pounds.  He is very friendly and sweet, likes other dogs, cats are unknown.  Jock is deaf so someone with experience with deaf dogs would be a plus.  **BECAUSE OF OUR REQUIREMENT FOR A HOME VISIT, WE ARE ONLY ABLE TO ADOPT TO HOMES IN THE NORTHERN VA / MARYLAND / DC METRO AREA** We have adoption events EVERY SATURDAY from 12-3 p.m. Please note that not all dogs can attend every event, so if you are interested in meeting a particular dog, please complete a no-obligation application on our website at http://www.muttloverescue.org/application.html OR write to adopt@muttloverescue.org.
