Do you have time and room in your life for a foster dog? http://www.muttloverescue.org/foster.html *****************   Jock was originally adopted from a rescue located in Alabama.  When he proved to be too active for the adopter's two senior dogs, they asked if Mutt Love would find him a loving home and of course we said yes.  Jock is about two years old and weighs about 30 pounds.  He is very friendly and sweet, likes other dogs, cats are unknown.  Jock is deaf so someone with experience with deaf dogs would be a plus.  **BECAUSE OF OUR REQUIREMENT FOR A HOME VISIT, WE ARE ONLY ABLE TO ADOPT TO HOMES IN THE NORTHERN VA / MARYLAND / DC METRO AREA** We have adoption events EVERY SATURDAY from 12-3 p.m. Please note that not all dogs can attend every event, so if you are interested in meeting a particular dog, please complete a no-obligation application on our website at http://www.muttloverescue.org/application.html OR write to adopt@muttloverescue.org. Ella is the sweetest girl ever! She's a 1-year-old, 30-pound Cairn Terrier mix with a scruffy tan coat and a loving personality. Although she might be a bit shy at first, she soon relaxes and settles into a calm life with playful dogs. She prefers not to be around rambunctious ones which usually reflect a more active lifestyle than she likes. But she's no couch potato which you'll quickly see as she climbs up a wired fence! A delightful girl! (posted 12/16/25, ME) Adoption Fee: $395.00-- covers microchip, worming, all vaccines, monthly heart worm preventative, monthly tick/flea preventative, spaying/neutering, health certificate, and complete medical records. Transport Fee: $160.00-- We consider the transport to be of great importance and, as such, take particular care of the dogs during the trip.
