Always on the lookout for dogs that need rescuing, one of our kennel staff saved siblings Dora and Diego from a flea market. These two were a natural to come into rescue with us. They are a mix of Jack Russell and Heeler and are only 3 months old. Right now, they each weigh around 6 pounds, but they'll mature to between 30 and 35 pounds. Both very sweet, they can be a bit shy but only at first. They love to play with toys as well as other dogs. They're both crate trained. Such sweetness! (posted 12/24/25, ME) Adoption Fee: $395.00-- covers microchip, worming, all vaccines, monthly heart worm preventative, monthly tick/flea preventative, spaying/neutering, health certificate, and complete medical records. Transport Fee: $160.00-- We consider the transport to be of great importance and, as such, take particular care of the dogs during the trip. We make every effort to arrive with healthy and minimally stressed dogs. **It is rare that we know with certainty the ages or mixes that make up our dogs, but we do our best to be as accurate as possible based upon our experience. **December 24, 2025, 12:34 pm

Ella is the sweetest girl ever! She's a 1-year-old, 30-pound Cairn Terrier mix with a scruffy tan coat and a loving personality. Although she might be a bit shy at first, she soon relaxes and settles into a calm life with playful dogs. She prefers not to be around rambunctious ones which usually reflect a more active lifestyle than she likes. But she's no couch potato which you'll quickly see as she climbs up a wired fence!
