Story
Skippy (A140488) is a 2-year-old DMH who weighed 9.78 pounds on intake!12/04/25 This shy boy is Skippy! Skippy was surrendered to the shelter with his housemate Junior. However, it was unclear if they are friends or just coexisted. Both of these boys have been using their litter boxes since arriving at the shelter and have had healthy appetites. They are both extremely shy, and while they tolerate being handled do not seem to overly enjoy it. They are both looking for a patient home that can help them each come out of their shells and feel at ease. They do not have experience with children or many people. They would most likely do best in a quiet and calm home setting. Providing him with plenty of hidy spaces is also important. Both Junior and Skippy were treated with Bravecto for ear mites once they arrived at the shelter. We encourage their next owner to recheck with their vet if they do have any follow-up concerns. If you are interested in meeting Skippy and feel that you can meet his needs, please let us know! December 4, 2025, 9:22 pm

Story
12/06/25 Miss Selena is back at the shelter after arriving as a stray and not being picked up by her owner. We do not know much about Selena's history in her most recent home. While at the shelter, Selena has been very entertaining. She will growl while making biscuits and seeking attention. She just likes to talk! Our cat room has been fairly full as of late, so it may be that she just doesn't appreciate the company. If you are interested in meeting Selena, give us a call!04/06/23 This is Selena! Selena is looking for a quiet and calm place to call home. She is not overly comfortable being held and may take some time to warm up to her new people. She would most likely appreciate a few hiding spots in her new home. Selena was known to scratch and likes having her own space. We do not know how she does with other critters. If you do plan on introducing her please make sure you do so in a slow, safe, and controlled environment. Selena was said to be litterbox trained and has used it consistently while at the shelter. We are hoping that with a little trust and love Selena will continue to come out of her shell! If you are interested in meeting her please give the shelter a call!December 6, 2025, 3:58 pm
