Mila is pronounced ‘My-Luh’ just short of “my love”. I got her out of foster care when she was about a year old. Mila loves being primarily an outdoor cat, but she does not like getting wet. She knows how to come home and ask to be let in. She’s very independent and active. She is a bit skittish from time to time, but has definitely come a long way. She has many toys and necessities we are happy to send with her when she finds a better home than ours.

I have loved this sweet girl for 10 years, and she is a genuinely happy, loving cat who loves to be around her human. While she is skittish around new people, once she warms up and chooses you, she will be your absolute shadow and favorite companion. She is content in every other aspect of life, but she has always lived with other cats since I adopted her at a year old. Because she has never had a space of her own, I highly suspect the stress of sharing her territory and bathroom space is the root cause of her ongoing litter box issues (intermittently pooping outside the box). It is highly likely that she simply needs to be the only pet in a peaceful, predictable environment where she is the center of attention. I am also relocating out of state next year, and a long-distance move would be entirely unfair to a cat with her sensitivities. If you have a quiet, low-traffic home and are looking for a singular companion to dote on, she will absolutely thrive with you. She just needs a couch

What a name for a lovely young girl. But it's okay; she can handle it! Bobbi came from a colony of cats. She was a young mother, barely more than a kitten herself when she gave birth to the deputies. She had the job of raising 4 rowdy kittens. She had to be the sheriff! Now the little ones are old enough to go to their own homes and NOW this beautiful little girl gets a chance to have the joy of being a kitten herself. A time to be carefree and not always looking after others. We are hoping to find her for a place where she can have the joy and fun and freedom that kittens get to experience when they have a family to care for them. Bobbi is a gorgeous girl with the ticked tabby coat and the radio tower ears that are so much the classic look of an Abyssinian. Sleek, agile, she is a beauty. Bobbi is okay with other cats but she may also be fine with a family who will give her attention, maybe even play with her, and definitely take her outside to enjoy the outside world that she grew up in. Rusty is a beautiful, soft tabby girl around 2 years old. She needs a family who is cat knowledgeable and patient. You must earn her trust. Rusty wants lots of love. She will sit and talk to you and come running when you call her. She loves to curl up next to you on the couch. She wants to be your special kitty. But she can be temperamental. She will lightly nip or swat you if she doesn’t like what you are doing or she is just in that type of mood. It does get better as she learns to trust you but doesn’t go away 100%. You can learn to read her cues. She loves to romp around the house with the other cats but when she wants her space will let them know. She does good with well behaved dogs.
