Story
Chai is an incredibly sweet and loving cat. He’s got a great mix of playful energy and calm cuddles, always ready to hang out and keep you company. He’s friendly with everyone and has a way of making you feel at ease with just a little purr or a nudge. It’s hard to let him go, but unfortunately, due to circumstances, I can’t keep him anymore. I know he’ll bring just as much joy to someone else’s home as he has to mine!

Story
Mimi (Darker) and Cleo (white w/ stripes) are about 2 years old. They are very caring and loving cats who love being with kids and are really playful. They like to sleep with someone and love to be cuddled. They’re also really independent and have not had an accident with them. We had a new baby and unfortunately cannot keep our beloved cats. We are looking for someone who will love and care for them as much as our kids have.

Story
Kona and I met in Philadelphia in 2019. I adopted her from an animal shelter when she was seven years old. Kona's single eye and gorgeous tabby complexion drew me to her immediately. She has been with me through my twenties, including a cross-coastal move. Kona is extremely adaptable -- we have lived in 4 different homes together. In a new home, we (doing my best to translate for Kona) are looking for a calm oasis with many soft surfaces to cuddle into. Kona loves chairs, couches, rugs, and sun patches. Kona is extremely affectionate and loves being the center of attention -- especially if you are talking ot someone on the phone on speaker. She is an amazing communicator -- when she has had enough affection she will let you know (she will bite). She does have sharp nails which can be cut. Another note about Kona: she contracted feline herpes before I adopted her. She would likely pass this on to another cat. She would do best as a single pet or with cats already with herpes.

Story
Stripes showed up as tiny feral kitten at a retreat center in 2014 and has lived her whole life outdoors. She has survived vicious attacks and many dangers and now deserves the safety and comfort of a warm indoor home. She is gentle, affectionate and deeply loving. Because trust has been hard-earned, she is wary of all people except me. With patience, she could bond safely with another and reveal her incredible sweetness. Having lived outdoors, Stripes is agile, fast, and alert, with sharp reflexes and strong survival instincts. When frightened, she runs and hides, but in a calm, secure space, she can relax and trust. Stripes would thrive in a quiet, peaceful home with someone who gets that trust takes time. She needs a safe place to finally let her guard down and for the right person, she be the most gentle, loving companion. Her favorite things are her warm heated bed, or a warm cozy lap - she likes being brushed or pet, and she loves Churu lickable treats and water fountains.

Story
Meet the incredibly handsome, amazingly talented, and genuinely loving sweethearts of AARF’s One Direction litter - Niall and Liam! The boys are great with cat-friendly dogs and cats of all ages! They love each other and everyone else too! Their favorite hobbies include a serious game of wand toy, watching cat tv like it’s their job, laying on or alongside you for some movie time, wrestling and playing with each other, and of course, doing just about anything to show off for a Churu treat! They love a high perch spot like a tall cat tree or wall shelves, and if given the chance to demonstrate their mountain goat jumping skills, they will shine and amaze anyone with their athleticism! The resounding theme with this adorable pair is: play hard, love hard, be awesome - repeat. Niall - the observer who can easily entertain himself with a ping pong ball for hours, but plays tag with his brother like a pro. He is easy-going, good natured, and gentle. Niall is the master of poses and facial expressions and is a pretty laid back kitty. This buff (aka dilute orange) tabby loves lap time and it’s rare for his foster mom to sit down and not have him in her lap in 2.0 seconds. Liam - his vibrant orange color is like he’s on high definition (truly, pictures don’t capture how brilliant his coloring is) and with his big innocent Puss In Boots eyes it’s hard not to want to shower him with smooches 24/7. Liam absolutely loves to watch tv or phones, an adorable quirk that makes watching anything a unique experience. Put on cat tv and you’ll have made a friend for life! He is playful, sweet, and always happy! These boys would love a chance to meet you virtually and/or in person and are available for a private meet and greet! They can be adopted together or each would make a great +1 for a resident kitten that needs a loving and fun companion friend/add-on sibling. To start the adoption process, an application must be completed and approved. You will find our full adoption process and the application at www.aarflove.org. We also have kitty adoption events most Saturdays from 12-3pm, where you can meet and interact with some of our available kitties. See our website for more information.

Story
Dot and Dash are two 7-year-old sisters who have lived indoors exclusively since they were about 8 weeks old. One parent was said to be a Siamese and the other a gray Tabby. They are beautiful, athletic, affectionate, and amusing. They love to sit on laps and run on their cat wheel. They both are frequently purring. They are best friends and need to be re-homed together to the right home. I am sadly needing to re-home them because my allergies and asthma have gotten significantly worse. Also I am not a good candidate for allergy shots due to allergic reactions to the shots. Additionally, I have two medium-sized sighthounds and my younger dog’s strong hunting instincts make it not safe for Dot and Dash to have free run of the house when this dog is in the house. Dash—the more confident and outgoing of the two sisters—likes the dogs. Dot is more wary of the dogs. With a dog who is good around cats, I think both would adapt to living with your dog.

Story
Aurora is a sweet and loving 8-year-old cat who is looking for a new forever home due to housing restrictions. She has a gentle, affectionate personality and loves being around people. Aurora enjoys attention and will happily keep you company, whether it’s cuddling on the couch or following you around the house. She has wonderful manners and does not bite or scratch, except during playful moments. Aurora gets along well with other cats and is comfortable around children, making her a great addition to a family home or a calm household alike. Aurora is spayed, up to date on all her vaccinations, and microchipped, so she is healthy and ready to transition smoothly into her new home. Aurora deserves a caring home where she can continue to give and receive love. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate companion, Aurora would make a perfect match.
