Story
Sail came from my first litter of my first two cats. Sail is 1 year old. I’m looking for a home that will have the time to take care of her as I could not due to being at work most of the day. I would describe sail as a very cautious lover she loves pets and attention but only from the people she knows so getting acclimated is a must for her.

Story
Max is around 7 months old (born around June 20, 2025), and was six weeks old. I got him from a neighbor whose cat had kittens. I have tried to train him not to get on tables or countertops, etc. but have not been able to. He is not very affectionate in that he has to be in a special mood for me to pet him. When he feels threatened, he acts like he wants to bite, but he never actually bites hard or breaks skin. Hes just letting you know he doesnt like what youre doing. I had a cat for 16 years who died in April 2025. Perhaps I am expecting too much of Max, or that he should be more like my old cat. I am 67, and I may not have the patience for a kitten any more. He has lots of energy and likes to play. He has a good appetite and isnt fussy about food. Hes not afraid of people or kids. He would do well in a house with someone who has the time and patience to work with him, and I think he would be a good cat. He has pretty markings &soft fur.

Story
Blue was rescued here in Jacksonville (poor bag was covered in gum and dirt and screaming in the Southside target parking lot) Blue would do best being an indoor/outdoor cat as he just wants to hunt and play! Blue unfortunately can’t come with me to my next apartment as the landlord is being pretty strict on animals very last second.

Story
Nollie is a 9 year old sweet girl. She was adopted in Jacksonville FL in 2015. She has travelled across the country twice and spent 6 years living in Colorado where she enjoyed watching the snow from any window. She enjoys sunbathing and lots of pets and cuddles. She gets along well with other cats and also enjoys time alone. Nollie has never lived with a dog. She is also good with kittens although she has never had any of her own. She is in need of a home where she can receive lots of love and affection. She will accept pets and hugs from anyone. She is gentle and very chill but does get the zoomies on occasion.

Story
Meet Thumper — certified Chunky King and professional goofball. Thumper is a delightfully round boy with a personality just as big as his adorable belly. He’s been described as playful and incredibly sweet — basically a marshmallow with zoomies. One minute he’s batting around a toy like an Olympic athlete, and the next he’s flopping over for love like he just completed a very intense 12-second workout. He’s still getting used to the hustle and bustle of shelter life, but you’d never guess it from how gentle and affectionate he’s been since arriving. Thumper may be taking it all in, but he’s doing it with charm, bravery, and probably a snack in mind. This handsome hunk would thrive in a home where he can continue to build confidence, show off his impressive wiggle when he trots, and maybe trade a few extra treats for some playtime (don’t tell him it counts as cardio). If you’re looking for a cat who brings the comedy, the cuddles, and the curves — Thumper is ready to thump his way right into your heart.

Story
Clarice is a sweet Domestic Shorthair mix with a beautiful brown-and-black coat accented by lovely white markings. She’s medium-sized and about a year and a half old. While she can be a bit shy at first, Clarice has made friends in the cattery and truly blossoms once she feels comfortable. When she bonds with her people, she transforms into a devoted lap cat who loves sharing quiet moments together. Clarice has a playful side too, but she’s perfectly content without constant attention. She’s spayed, microchipped, and up to date on her vaccinations—completely ready to head home. Stop by our Adoption Center and take some time to get to know Clarice—you might just fall in love.

Story
Meet Apollo — professional snack enthusiast and best friend to Medusa!Apollo is a one-year-old kitty who came to us as a transfer from Walton County, FL, and he’s been charming us ever since. He and his buddy Medusa are a dynamic duo, but Apollo is definitely the “soft boy” of the pair.Apollo lives for comfy beds — plush cushions, fluffy blankets, anything cozy enough to make him look like royalty. He does need a little extra socialization, but don’t let that fool you. This handsome guy has a very simple weakness: treats. The way to his heart is basically a straight line paved with crunchy snacks and Churu.Once he trusts you, his gentle, cuddly personality starts to shine. He’s sweet, curious, and so ready for a patient home that can help him continue to blossom. If you’ve got soft bedding and a treat stash, Apollo is ready to move right in.
