Lily was a Mother's Day gift to me in 2019 when she was just 3 months old. My husband adopted her from the local humane society, and she was one of the best surprises I've ever received. I have always had cats, but she has been the best cat I've ever had. She is kind, gentle, intuitive, and so loving. She comes to greet everyone and loves cuddles and scratches. She likes to sunbathe, and people watch out the window. I have three kids, and she is usually at the center of play. She has never hissed, scratched, or even attempted to bite anyone. Unfortunately, my youngest child (seen in the picture) was diagnosed with asthma and has a weak respiratory system, so we have been dealing with back-to-back illnesses. After trying everything, we determined that she is one of the triggers. She is used to a lot of love, affection, and being spoiled. My only hope is that we find her a home just the same.

Butter belongs to my son, but unfortunately my son is allergic, and his symptoms have been getting worse over time. My mom, who was her primary caretaker, passed away. Would love to find her an amazing new home :). She loved head scratches! We adopted this lovely mama cat several years ago before a major hurricane. She was a stray cat and we wanted to help her be safe temporarily. She had 6 baby kittens shortly after we adopted her.
