Story

I found Liza when she was just a tiny kitten in a park. After my partner and I separated, Liza came to live with me and truly blossomed. She discovered how much she loved being an outdoor cat, finding joy in fresh air, quiet independence, and exploring at her own pace. Now 6 years old, Liza is a wonderful mix of affectionate and self-sufficient. She can be incredibly cuddly and playful, but she’s also happiest when she’s stretched out in a warm sun patch, watching birds from the window, or enjoying a bit of nighttime freedom. As a first-time cat owner, I know I could have socialized her better early on, but Liza’s gentle, sweet nature has always shone through. She just gets a bit nervous, but eventually she warms up. It’s not her fault she’s been passed around. Liza truly deserves stability, peace, and a calm environment where she can feel safe and loved. I wish more than anything that I could keep her myself.

I’m looking to rehome my sweet, loving, and gentle tortoiseshell cat, Xina. Xina has been a part of our family for years, so this is not a decision I have taken lightly. Since we adopted her my husband has struggled with allergies but he has managed his symptoms with medication. Unfortunately, we have recently learned that my baby is also allergic to cats, and Xina’s presence has been triggering her eczema since birth. To help manage my baby's allergies, we have had to keep Xina and the baby separated as much as possible, which has been difficult and unfair for both of them. While this decision breaks my heart, I have to prioritize my family’s health and Xina’s comfort and wellbeing as well. Xina is super cuddly and affectionate and she truly enjoys human company. She is spayed, microchipped, and is a wonderful furry companion. I am committed to finding the right home for her. Lucy was found at the back of an animal hospital that we use, and they asked us to take her into the rescue, and we agreed! Lucy is just the cutest girl! A full grown cat, she’s barely bigger than an oversized kitten. She loves a tummy scratch, baking biscuits on your soft blankets and sleeping on your bed right where you want to put your feet. She’s shy at first, but once she feels the love, she’s playful and vocal and so full of her own love to give. This gentle girl will take up so much space in your heart and she deserves it all. Lucy is spayed, microchipped, FIV/FeLV tested negative, fecal tested negative, dewormed, vaccinated, including rabies. She is litter box trained and is being fostered in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Though a little shy at first, he quickly warms up when he’s around other cats—he absolutely loves feline friends and would be happiest in a home with a buddy to play and cuddle with. Obsidian enjoys batting at toys, scaling cat trees, and quietly observing the world until he’s ready to join in the fun. With a gentle heart and playful spirit, this sweet boy will thrive in a patient, loving home that appreciates his softer nature.
