Story
This cat lived at my brother's house with 4 roommates. My brother passed away in May of 2026. The cat's owner left at the end of June to go to court in Chicago and nobody has heard from him since then. We believe he is in jail. The other 2 roommates have been taking care of the cat but now the house will be going into foreclosure and the remaining 2 roommates will be moving in October and are unable to take the cat with them. They need homes too :(( The cat is an indoor/outdoor cat and does not use a litter box. He is friendly and loves to be petted and enjoys the company of people. He also lives with a dog in the house and they get along just fine. Not sure when the last time he went to the vet was or if he is even fixed. But he is a good cat.

Story
Rescued Taz on a construction site, he was abandoned and about 2 weeks old at the time. He’s 2, he’s a very good cat but I have 2 young babies and he seems territorial over me. He has cut my girls a good amount but I do truly think he is playing but very aggressively, he doesn’t hiss, and his fur doesn’t stand up. I think he plays rough and also I believe he has some anxiety when too many people are around. That is the bad, the good is he is a very normal and loving cat, stays indoors and just wants to play a lot. Very high energy and LOVES to snuggle at bed time. Also, very active, he gets the zoomies a bunch! Never a boring moment!

Story
Sweet Theo was abandoned by his owner, and we have been watching him for a few weeks but can no longer house him because someone in our household has a severe allergy to cats, he is very friendly loves to be held and is great with people, and other pets. He is 2 years old and would do great with any size household, he deserves a great home. He also responds to “kitty”or “cat”.

Story
Meet Dot technically a kitten with cerebellar hypoplasia, but you'd probably never guess it. Dot's CH is mild, so mild that most people who meet her just think she's a little clumsy, or that she pounced a bit too hard and missed. A slight wobble here, an occasional stumble there and that's about the extent of it. CH isn't painful and it doesn't get worse over time. It's just a small difference in how Dot's brain developed before birth, and in her case, it barely registers day to day. She runs, plays, jumps up on the couch, and does all the regular kitten things...just with the occasional bit of extra flair. Dot doesn't need a specialist home or major adjustments. She just needs someone who won't panic the first time she trips over her own feet, because two seconds later she'll be right back to chasing whatever she was chasing before. mhpetrescue.org/adopt
